BEST OF 2013

Hi everyone, I had planned to show you some blindingly sparkly nails which are perfect for New Years today but I'm saving that for tomorrow now because I want to share my 'best of' for 2013. 

It's unbelievable how quickly time goes by but this year has been the most life changing year for me, all I can say really is dreams do come true, even if that sounds cheesy!

So let's get on to polish business shall we.

FAVOURITE POLISHES & NAIL ART OF 2012 & AN OVERVIEW

Hi guys, so I kinda left this post till rather late, I managed to compile my list by this time yesterday and when it came to getting the post ready I realised I hadn't blogged about half of these polishes before : O. I know, right ! 

Anyway so today I was determined and I went and got all the polishes and swatched them again, I've left one though and it's currently on my nails, lets see if you can guess which one (I'll reveal the answer later on in this post)

Ok, so before I get into it, I know people will ask why there aren't any indie polishes here and that's because I haven't bought any! Yep that's right I resisted all year and the only one I bought was Sticks n' stones and that I got in a British blog sale! The reason I haven't bought any is because I know when I get one I'll want them all and I simply can't afford them all so I stay away from temptation, simples ! But I do love looking at all the swatches and really admire all Indie creators for there creativity.

2011 TOP 11 !

Ok, i wasn't planning on posting anything but after seeing everyone's amazing posts of their top (insert number) polishes for 2011 I decided I'd share my favourites with you too : )

well the original plan was to do my favourite polishes that were released this year, but i didn't get many polishes from the new collections this year, 2011 was the year officially became on to nail polish scene, i have always loved nail polish but i never knew about new collections and all these brands so i spent this year just catching up on old collections, so i'm going to show you my favourite nail polishes which i bought and used in 2011 which may have been released before but were still new to me ; ) 
I didn't have time to reswatch all these colours so some of them are from previous posts and others from the vault, that's why my nails may be different lengths in the pictures

GOSH - bubble gum

 ( omg! yes a pink made it in to the top 12!) i really do like this colour, it applies so well and look at that shine !

NO7 - Poolside Blue 

i have raved about this soo much all year i don't need to say anything again (for some reason every picture i take of this is baaad!)

Illamasqua - Raindrops

I loveee it so soft and gorgeous and the little flecks, oh beautiful : )

China Glaze - 2nite

 One of the most holoey holo's i have and the blue colour of it is absolutely gorgeous (i didn't reswatch this because there wasn't any sun to show off it's true gorgeousness !)

Zoya - Verushka 

One I've only acquired recently but the minute i put it on it shot straight up to the top 10!

OPI - Opening night gold 

this picture isn't the best, this was the first holo i photographed and it was hard loll, i will reswatch this again soon, and this is my favourite layering holo too (you can see the post here to see what it looks like layered )

pic taken in artificial light, so nowhere near it's full potential, but you've all seen far too many swatches of this already !

I very nearly didn't get this and when i did it was only for layering so imagine my surprise when i fell head over heels when i put it on !

Most definitely my favourite polish of the whole year, i have worn this sooo many times and really didn't expect to love this as much as i did  !

30 DAY CHALLENGE, DAY UNO, REDDD

ok ladies, quick rush post here, whilst i was checking my blog roll i came across this post at Shadow's nail art, and this looked sooo exciting i had to try it out for myself

and like she said only 30 days in September so this will be a 30 day challenge : ) 
first week might be a tad boring but im soo excited for some of them, have already got my thinking cap on loll 


ok, so today is red and i've actually been saving a post on my favourite red nail polish loll, and so this is the perfect oppurtunity, i introduce to you rimmel dancing queen, 

an old but stunning rimmel, 

all the pictures are without topcoat and look at how glosssy this is 

flawless application, perfect formula, gorgeous colour, an all road favourite of mine, i think i've given my opinion on red nail polish before so i wont again but here you are day 1 : ) going to run off and get day 2 picked out now : )
