THE BODY SHOP CRAZY FOR BLUE NEGATIVE SPACE CHEVRONS

Hey guys, I hope your having a good weekend. My parents are going away for 2 weeks tomorrow so I'm left in charge of the house and my brothers, I don't have anything planned so I'm hoping I can paint my nails a lot.
Tonight I have for you my first negative space mani, I haven't done this before I wasn't sure I liked it but I decided to try it out quickly one night before bed for uni the next and I really liked how it came out and made my short nails look longer.
For these I just have one coat of base coat and then I used the single chevron nail vinyls from She Sells Seashells and painted the rest of the nail with The Body Shop Colour Crush polish in Crazy For Blue* which is a gorgeous navy colour. I didn't top coat these because I didn't have time, so you can see the imperfections.
I just love the new The Body Shop polishes, they really are so amazing and they look so lovely, they would make the most perfect Christmas present if your looking for a last minute gift!

HOT PINK HOLOGRAPHIC GLITTER PLACEMENT NAILS

Hey guys, how's your weekend going? I have spent the day cleaning and whilst my mind is now uncluttered and happy my body is tired :( Just can't win!
Anyway today I'm showing you another glitter placement mani with this awesome type of holographic glitter that I have just fallen in love with! (you can see other designs I've created using this type of holographic glitter hereherehereherehere and here
I wasn't sure what base colour to pair this hot pink glitter with so I asked on instagram and I got lots of lovely suggestions and decided to go with a navy blue in the form of Sally Hansen Thinking Of Blue. I like this combination but I don't think I love it, I'll have to use these glequins over a lime green next time, now I bet that would look awesome :)

Ok, so that's it for today, as soon as I click publish I'm heading into bed, take care guys :)

18K GOLD TOP COAT COMPARISONS

Hi guys, ok so here is another quick post ! I recently got Rococo Gold Leaf topcoat from Ebay for a good price, some of you may be familiar with this polish, it was the first (I think) gold leaf topcoat and was released a few years ago ! I had wanted it for a long time but then, £35 is a lot !

Anywho I decided to compare it to the other 2 gold leaf topcoats I own; namely, Sephora by OPI - It's Real 18k Gold tc and OPI - The Man With The Golden Gun !
I've layered one coat of each over China Glaze Up all night,
the ring and pointer finger have the Rococo, the middle has the OPI and the pinky is the Sopi !

L-R - Rococo, OPI, Rococo, Sopi

Ok so you can see the Sopi has the smallest flakes but is the densest and doesn't require much/any dabbing

The OPI is the least dense and the flakes are mid size and sparse, which requires quite a bit of dabbing and placing of the flakes

The Rococo is rather dense and has a mix of larger and mid size flakes, you get a lot of flakes on the nail but you need to move them around on the nail !

My favourite? The Sopi ! Yours?

CHINA GLAZE UP ALL NIGHT

Hi guys, I don't really any time to post anymore, I have my first exam in less than 2 weeks and still have a tonne of stuff to go over, so every minute counts ! (I can't wait for January to be over!)
I will try to blog in my breaks or whenever but no promises !
Ok, so I had this on last year before I nubbinised my nails, it's the gorgeous Up All Night by China Glaze.
It's a gorgeous deep, rich shimmering navy !
This is 2 coats below with no topcoat !

Have you guys got this ? Do you love it as much as I do too ?

MORE GOLDEN STAMPING

So the internet isn't fixed and it meant I missed out on entering an amazing contest, urgh! I am not impressed sky please sort it out !
Anyway these nails are one which looked good in my head but yeah not so much on my nails. It's basically the mani from my previous post (Nails inc Motcomb Street and OPI The Man With The Golden Gun) and then I used the cascading squares image from the BM - 320 plate with some Barry M Gold Foi !

Hmm, so yeah there you are, what do you guys think?

IT'S THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN !

So I got this at the beginning of the month and because I loved the previous combo I did with Nails Inc Motcomb street and SOpi It's real 18k gold topcoat (which I showed you guys here ) I thought I'd recreate with The Man With The Golden Gun, and well, it turns out I prefer the SOpi ! I still really like this one but I prefer the smaller flakes, maybe a different combination will change my mind, who knows?!
Anyway what you see is 2 coats of Nails Incs and 1 coat of TMWTGG and then quite a bit of dabbing because the flakes are unfortunately rather sparse (you can see I went a bit OTT on my accent nail lol!)

So yeah, there you go which gold topcoat do you prefer?

SOME GOLDEN STAMPING

Really brief post for today, this is basically the mani I had on a few days ago which I showed you here. I just did some subtle stamping with Barry M Gold Foil because I didn't want the stamping to overpower the gold flakes.

I hope you like it, I'll be back tomorrow (if my internet lets me) with a gorgeous polish : )

NAILS INC MOTCOMB STREET & SOPI IT'S REAL 18K GOLD TOPCOAT

I loveed this combo, seriously so chic and gorgeous !
2 coats of Nails inc Motcomb Street , a deep navy which looks black in some lightings and is incredibly shiny and gorgeous (which I got free with Glamour) and 1 coat of Sephora by Opi It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat which I got from Jasmine

It's a really dense topcoat (compared to the others) and the flakes are much smaller but now I think I prefer the smaller flakes to the larger ones !
