INTERLOCKING DOTS NAIL ART TUTORIAL

Hey guys, I posted a couple of Interlocking dot nail art a while ago and I got a few requests for a tutorial. So that's what I have for you today! 

If you want to see how to do these nails just read on :)

What you will need: 

Base Coat

2 (or more) different nail polishes. I'm using Illamasqua Noble and Jo'mina 

Dotting Tool*

Top Coat

STEP 1 - After base coat, paint half of the nail diagonally with your first colour. It doesn't have to be perfect.

STEP 2- Paint the other half of the nail with your other colour. 

STEP 3 - Using your dotting tool, make dots along the middle line, where the colours meet, making sure you leave a similar sized gap between each dot. 

STEP 4 - Again using the dotting tool and the 2nd colour and create dots in the gaps you made before

STEP 5 - Add a layer of top coat. 

And that is it, yep it's really simple and easy to do, so do give it a try and share them with me!

BARRY M GELLY RAINBOW INTERLOCKING DOTS

Hey folks, I've been busy these past few days and tired so I haven't had a chance to post anything and this is my last ready to use post so I probably won't be posting again until next Tuesday. 

Anyway today's nails, I've used all Barry M Gelly polishes and done interlocking dots again in a rainbow pattern. Starting from the pinky I used Satsuma, Mango, Papaya, Key Lime, Green Berry, Damson, Blue Grape and finally Plum. 

This was a bit of fail unfortunately if you look at the interlocking dots I did which don't actually look like they're interlocking haha! But the colours look really lovely together so it's all good!

BARRY M INTERLOCKING DOTS

Hey guys, how's your week going? So I've seen the interlocking circles nail design so many times and it's been on my list of things to do but that list has over 7836 things on it so you can imagine why it's taken me a while. 

Anywho for these nails I did 2 coats of Barry M Gelly in Kiwi and then painted one half of the nail diagonally and then used a dotting tool to do the rest of the details. It's super easy and super fast to do. Oh and these colours aren't very colour accurate, my camera hates blues and greens so whilst this looked gorgeous irl my camera messed up the colours!

Ok, so that's it for today. My next post is also an interlocking dots mani, can you guess the colours?

GEL PEN PAISLEY NAIL ART

Hope you all had a lovely Saturday! A little while ago I went in to Asda and saw a big pack of 18 gel pens for £1 so I bought them and decided to try some nail art with them like I'd seen Alice do. I wasn't sure if it would work but it did! 

So for this I started off with two coats of Essence Absolutely Blue and then used the glittery purple and blue gel pen to draw on the rest of the details, I had to wait about 3 minutes just to let it dry a little bit and then used a thick layer of topcoat, trying not to smudge the design. 

I'm not crazy about how it looks but I don't dislike it.

DOTTED FRAMES

Hi guys, this post wasn't meant to be so late ! Sorry we have been crazy busy since Friday, Saturday we went to a family friends house and got home at 2am , then Sunday we went to a different friends house and got home at midnight, and today we had some family friends round ours and we've spend the whole day cooking and cleaning and so I haven't really had time to post ! I was supposed to show you w7 Salt n pepper today but I haven't edited the photo's yet and I'm feeling too tired to do it now! Anyway onto nail stuff now 

I'm rather a fan of framed nails, I like doing them more than wearing them, lol  ; ) So for this I used Dim Sum Plum from Opi and dotted on the frames they aren't as neat as I'd wanted but they look a lot better irl than in the photos :  ) 

I know some people don't like framed nails but what do you guys think about this ?

THE BIG BANG THEORY NAILS - BAZINGA

Hey guys how are you all today? The weather here is pants so no holo : (  instead I thought I'd share my big bang theory nails with you, I tried to recreate the famous ball pit scene but it looked better in my head and tbh. I was being lazy and couldn't be bothered drawing Sheldon's head lol  ! 

Anyway yeah I just used the end of a tailors pin because my dotting tool  heads were too small for the balls and I just dotted on different balls in different colours and then I used black acrylic paint to write on bazinga ! 

Hope you like it, I can't remember all the different polishes I used but if anybody is desperately wanting to know I'll put them in : )

CHINA GLAZE - DV8

I don't really have much to say with this polish you've seen it before but I haven't showed you it yet, these pictures are from a while ago when we actually had some sun, it's been raining sooo much recently ! 

Anyway this was two coats and then I used OMG to do some dots on half the accent nail : ) 

Then I used the other china glaze omg's I have to add skittle tips

Peace dude ; ) 

A very pretty holo right ?

RANDOM DOTTY SPONGEY MINNIE MANI?

Yep this is  a rather random mani, I found this maybelline from ages ago and when I tested it I loved the colour the finish the formula everything ! So I put it on and had no idea what to do on on top of it, but I eventually just sponged on some orly winter wonderland on the tips and then added some random dots ! It kinda reminds me of minnie mouse ? 
Yes shockingly I only uploaded 1 photo of this mani ! !!

DO YOU REMEMBER MR BLOBBY ? AND AN APOLOGY

Does anybody even know who mr blobby is? or is it just me? well actually my dad seemed to remember who he was lol, anyway today's nails are inspired by him :  P

i must admit i took this straight off after these pictures because this was too odd and wrongly bright imo !

now i think about it, i never liked mr blobby, *shrugs*  oh well  

and now i look at it on the computer the bow tie is kind of  pants ! i swear it didn't looks this bad irl

i also have to apologize to all you, i'm so very sorry that i haven't been blogging often enough but life is honestly too crazy atm, we're finally starting to get our lives back on track : )
