BUTTERFLY WING GRADIENT NAILS

Can you beleive this is my first time attempting the butterfly wing nail art, I guess when you see a lot of a design everywhere it kinda makes you feel satisfied so it never appears on your own nails! Anyways I finally decided to try it and was kinda disappointed with the result, my lines just weren't neat and it just didn't look right, so I am going to have to try these again !

For this I started off with a gradient using Kiko 340, China Glaze For Audrey and and unnamed light pink Color Club, when that was dry I topped it off with one coat of China Glaze Glistening Snow before drawing on the the butterfly pattern. I've actually done a tutorial for these which I'll probably post tomorrow.

My middle finger was probably my favourite but I think I need more practice. What do you think about this nail design, do you like the whole wing nail art thingy?, have you tried it out?

PRINCESS JASMINE GLITTER GRADIENT NAILS

Hey guys, how's your weekend been? It's been a long day today, glad it's over! I'm so happy to be able to sit, drink some lovely tea and blog :) My vault is overflowing so there will probably be a post every day for a little while!
Anywho, these nails for some reason remind me of Princess Jasmine, don't ask me why though, lol !
So I started off with 2/3 coats of OPI What's With The Cattitude? I then used OPI Teenage Dream for the glitter gradient before topcoating it all !

Simples, right ? What do you guys think, do you love glitter gradient like me?

SNOWY CHRISTMAS GRADIENT

Hi everyone, hope your all good :)
The inspiration for today's nails came from the gradient image on the BM-301 plate ! So I painted on 2 coats of Models Own Baby Blues and I used w7 white to stamp on the gradient which looked good but when I painted on the wavy tips to look like snow on the ground the falling snow looked way too subtle in comparison so I stamped over it again, it's  still subtle but I like it :) Oh yeah and then I dotted on 2 dots to make the snowman and done !

I'm not sure if it looks like it's snowing but I really like it, hope you guys do too :)

PASTEL WATERCOLOUR NAILS

So do you remember the watercolour trend which used acetone from earlier this year? If not then check this out. Well I wanted to try it out but I didn't have any acetone : o ! So when I got some about a month ago I decided it was time, I tried to create like an early sunset effect which didn't really work out so turned into this mani you see right here !
I started off with one coat of Models Own Baby blues and then I used Barry M Pale Pink and Berry Ice and then Models own Lemon Meringue and the middle finger kind of looks like a sky and the others just look random but kinda cool ; )

So have you guys tried this technique and do you love it ?

OUT THE WINDOW

So, it's safe to say I'm a fan of doing framed nails, I'm not crazy about how they look but I really enjoy drawing them on lol ; ) (I think I've already told you this !)
Anyway so yes I had this idea and it turned out ok, I turned the black frame into window frames and drew wonky black lines to make it look more windowy and then because I had time I drew on some curtains on the accent nail and I tried to give it some life by shading but I'm not sure it really worked out well ! Also I drew on a little birdy but kinda upside down lol , oops !

Hhhhm, so,  yes that's a bit of sponge on the pointy finger lol ! What do you guys think ? Do you like it ? I do : ) Ok so talk to you all soon, take care for now : )

WHIMSICAL BLUE GRADIENT NAILS

Well that's a mouthful ! lol, so a couple of days ago I got my prize from Rochelle, which were Icing magnetic polishes, but she also offered to get me some other polishes from her side of the pond, and I am too weak to refuse ! Loll  ! One of those polishes was revlon whimsical, and it was just tooo gorgeous not to try out immediately, and since I'm not over the gradient trend I decided to try and pair the two things together, so here you are ....

3 coats of barry m blue moon and models own baby blues and barry m turqouise used for sponging at tips and 1 coats of whimsical ...
( I did 2 coats on my accent which was an accident because it hid most of the gradient underneath !)

The gradient is subtle but definitely there, it looks better irl. it's so annoying when the amazingness doesn't get picked up in the camera !

So there's loads of pictures there, you can probably tell I looooovvvveeee this loll, do you ?

OPI RUSSIAN NAVY

ladies, i'm so sorry my posts are so late, but i'm really trying to concentrate on my work and my nails have been quite short for a while and i don't think designs look quite so good on short nails, hopefully i will have some Halloween nail art for you, please leave suggestions in the comments about what i should do, as i'm feeling a little stuck for ideas, i want to do something original and unique but my minds blank so far loll

anyway on to today nail polish, i had this in my untrieds for such a long time but the other day i was in the mood for dark polishes and thought i'd give it a try and ... i fell in love
this is such a gorgeous polish, why i haven't used it before, i don't know but anyway here are the swatches

you neeed to enlarge these to see the awesome glitter in it !

30 DAY CHALLENGE, DAY 30 - INSPIRED BY A TUTORIAL

easy peasy lemon squeezy who's tutorial i was going to use , this is all thanks to nailside's tutorial : )
i'd have loved to do the explosion mani and tried twice and failed so badly, i went with this !
pointer finger and accent are no7 poolside blue and the middle and pinky are misa throw me something purple !
grey is avon wet cement, which is a matte and dries before you've put the brush back in the bottle, which may be the reason my lines aren't very good and the tiny bit of green is revlon emerald city matte

lines are no where near as crisp as hers or neat loll, i am clearly a novice when it comes to tape mani's loll, but practise makes perfect!

30 DAY CHALLENGE, DAY 27 - INSPIRED BY ARTWORK

*hangs head* ladies, i'm very sorry i didn't post these on time, but i've been really ill for the past few days but because of personal statements and stuff i've had to drag myself into school, and then by the time i've got home again i had to go to bed because i felt so weak and ill : (  all these mani's i've done today, i'm still not well but i really didn't want to leave this challenge unfinished, and i was so tired , this morning i had some work experiance at a dental surgery in beeston and so had to be up and early, when i finished there i went straight to school at two, went to my chemy lesson, came home and then sat down for two minutes and then our cousins came round and i got 2 hours where i sat down and did all these remaining mani's and i couldn't post them because my cousins have just gone now and i'm feeling ill again, i really hope i'm better by wednesday because i've got my ukcat exam on wednesday ! anyway hee is the art work mani

MODELS OWN BABY BLUE AND MORE FIMO

aloha ladies, it's result's day today and i'm back home now and i'm smiling (always a good sign) thankfully i did alright i got 2 A's, one in Business Studies and the other in Bio and one B in Chemy and i'm happy lol, especially since the biology exam i did this summer, i was supposed to do next year, but i like a challenge and trust me it was a challenge indeed, the teacher was so negative towards me (made me cry once!) and i had to teach myself and learn everything in one month and it involved lots of late nights and cold sweats and stress lol but it's all worth it in the end, definitely : )

anyway why i'm telling you? becuase i have to share my happiness with someone anyway back to the nails loll, from my haul post the other day Joy said she wanted to see some of the models own and so i rustled up this mani.
this is also my first models own and i was also anxious to try it

and i couldn't leave it plain i had to add some fimo !

you can see some bubbling in this pic but it wasn't noticable irl

if i'm honest i wasn't too impressed with this it was streaky and in pics you can see some bubbling and it looks like a really uneven finish, but i like the colour and for £5 its ok, maybe its the colour and the others will be a lot better *fingers crossed* ok ladies i'l talk to you all later : )
