BARRY M GELLY GRAPEFRUIT & HOLO GLEQUIN ACCENT

Hey guys, are you having a lovely Easter weekend? I've acquired lots of new nail polish in the past 2 days, I have loads of nail polishes my parents bought me from Spain and loads of new Barry M Gellys (check my instagram to see what I got). I have so much to play with but no time because I have so much revision to do :(
Anyway I have a very simple mani for you today, very easy to do but I LOVE it ! I didn't want to take it off!
I applied 2 coats of Barry M Gelly in Grapefruit (which isn't as hot pink as my pictures show)  I then used silver holographic glequins to completely glequify the accent nail.

Ah, love this so so much! It's really easy to do and I think it looks so cute :)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll see you in my next post, stay fabulous guys !

HOLOGRAPHIC GLITTER PLACEMENT NAILS

Hey guys, hope your having a nice Christmas!
Today I have some really sparkly nails to show you which I did a little while ago!
You've all seen the glitter in OPI Snow You Love Me, it's so gorgeous and unique right? Well its supposed to have a terrible formula so instead of wasting £8-£10 on a bottle I bought a small bag of the same glitter on ebay for £2 (I think) after I saw this post by Polish All The Nails.
I thought I'd look nice with a red base colour, so I started off with one coat of Kiko 238 and then I used a thick bottle of topcoat to kind of embed the glitter into because they're quite large and I didn't want them to stick up.

Urgh, I love this glitter and I've bought some more in different colours and I've also been sent some from an online store which is so beautiful and I can't wait to share with you :) Ok, so enjoy the rest of your day guys and I'll see you in the next post :)

GOSH HOLOGRAPHIC (OLD) VS GOSH HOLOGRAPHIC HERO (NEW) - COMPARISON

So this comparison was requested by the lovely Kvacka, I wasn't going to do it because I'd seen a few similar posts on other blogs
Anyway, first up bottle shots, in the bottle the new Holographic looks promising and there are few difference but that all changes on the nail, so the middle and pinky finger is the original holographic and you can see from the pictures it is way more holo, it was even more evident irl !

So, I'm sorry if anyone is disappointed by this comparison; I was : (
but none the less holographic hero is an amazing holo on it's own, especially for a uk polish ; )
Application wise the new one has a slightly better formula, it doesn't drag as much but it's still a pain to apply !
So have any of you guys picked up the new Gosh holographic?

JESSICA HOLOGRAM CHIC & HITS APOLO

I've decided to take advantage of the sunny weather were getting here, it probably won't last so we have to make the most of it !
So for this mani I did one coat of no7 Poolside Blue and the pinky, ring and thumb and then I layered 2 coats of Hits Apolo over the top, then on the other fingers I used 2 coats of Jesicca Disco Diva, I decided to test out the Retro Revival base coat and used it for the middle finger and I can say it definitely improves application and you can already start to see some tipwear on the pointy finger !
Finally I used poolside blue to stamp on a bow and then I stamped over it with Hits Apolo, it was meant to look like a shadow to get a 3d effect, but you can see it just looks like dodgy stamping loll !
I also used Gosh Holographic to stamp the dotty bow on the thumb but it wasn't very good !

I loved this mani soo much I loved the colours, Disco Diva is absolutely gorgeous I was blown away by how holo it was, seriously this definitely rivals Gosh Holographic, I haven't done a comparison yet but I will do for you !

I had tried the blue layering to get a ds glamour (huge lemming) dupe but it didn't work, if anybody knows a good layering combo for a ds dupe please let me know !
