NUDE & NEON HALF MOON NAIL ART

Hello everyone, how are you all tonight?
I have some half moon nail art for you all, I used OPI San Tan Tonio as my nude base colour and then I painted a half moon using Morgan Taylor Making Waves, once that was dry I used black acrylic paint to paint on the details over the half moon.
I loved the contrast between the bright blue and the nude.

BARRY M ROSE HIP & HALF MOON DAISIES

Hey everyone, how are you all? I hope you've had a good weekend :) So today I went to the Essence Bloggers Event and it was awesome! I came away with loads of new goodies and lots of exciting nail products to share with you soon :)
So today's nails I used Barry M Gelly in Rose Hip for a base, I had to use 2 thick coats.  I didn't instantly love it but the colour grew on me and I ended up wearing it for longer than I had meant to! I decided to add a little bit of nail art and painted on daisies as half moons and I love them, how cute are they?

As a bonus, here's a plain swatch of Rose Hip

Ok, I am very tired so I'm heading off to bed and I'll see you in my next post. Have a good week guys :)

STARRY NAIL ART FAIL

Hey guys, how's your weekend been? I've spent about 15 hours this weekend editing blog photos and getting some posts ready!
Ok, so today I have a nail art fail to share with you today. I was inspired by this beautiful mani by Lucy  and thought I'd try it out for myself. I started off with two coats of Illamasqua Creator and then sponged on some red, green and blue to give a galaxy like appearance and then painted on the stars using white acrylic paint. On the ring finger I decided to do a half moon with the white and oh my goodness it turned into the worst half moon I've ever seen in my life! Haha

I wasn't going to show this but I believe part of blogging is sharing our failures, we are only human aren't we and it's our failures which help us grow improve. Ok guys, enjoy your Monday!

JUICY ROYAL GLITTER HALF MOON NAILS

Hi guys, have you entered my giveaway here
Anywho I hope your enjoying your weekend, I'm spending my weekend studying and cleaning, what a fun combination, right?!
So onto nail business, I haven't done half moon nails in what seems like an eternity, so I decided it was about time I cracked out the hole reinforcement stickers. For these nails I started out with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Lady Luck (and I concentrated the glitter near the cuticle). Once that had dried (after about 10 minutes) I applied the reinforcement stickers and painted the rest of the nail with 2 coats of Revlon Royal and applied one coat of topcoat!
This looked so shiny, juicy and squishy in real life ! I loved it :)

What do you think? When was the last time you did a half moon mani?

HALF MOONS WITH HOLO & GLEQUINS

I am super tired right now but I'm excited to show you this mani !
For this I started off with 2 coats of Kiko 339, which is a gorgeous nude holo polish , then I applied the blue glequins in a half moon shape on all the nails except the accent nail where I reversed it and topped it all of with topcoat (which didn't dull the holo :) ! As you can imagine it was supper blingy and shiny !
Oh and I managed to drop the whole pot onto the floor ! I did save about a third of the pot but cleaning them up was a pain!

When I took this off I was super annoyed, why? Because the blue glequins had stained my nails really badly, I had basecoat on too which is why I was annoyed and confused, so I've not used them again

30 DAY CHALLENGE, DAY 18 - HALF MOONS

aah, so simple and chic, yet the hardest nail design i may have ever done ! *shocking*
and this morning i learnt on rebecca likes nails  that it was an old tradition for women to leave a half moon !
i love the half moons and first saw them on dita von teese and decided to try them out, i don't think i've ever been so frustrated with a design ! oh the horror ! they came out wonky, i tried the guides and they made things worse, anyway since then i only admired them from a distance loll, and when i saw them on list i thought oh no ! but i had a great idea, i saw a picture on google about a year ago and i had to recreate it

and in true nail loopy style, i managed to knock my little finger *typical*

but i loved the rhinestones because it didn;t make the half moons look soo wonky loll

the crackle didnt't shatter in lines like it should have done (maybe it was because i didn't wait for the base colour to dry !)

i really quite like this design, as it's quite chic and neutral but also rather funky loll, would you wear this ?

ooops and i also want to say thankyouu so much ladies for showing Anna at Pretty Digits soo much support, i feel so connected, loll hehe : P
