PURPLE OPI TEXTURED TAPE TIPS

Hey guys, how are you all doing? The weekend goes by so quickly :( 

Remember this mani here, well I decided I wanted to try it out again but with different colours so I decided to use OPI Vesper and Funky Dunkey. 

I started off with two coats of Funky Dunkey and then when that was dry I used two pieces of Striping tape to make the criss cross tips and then applied Vesper and that was it. I didn't apply topcoat because I wanted the texture to show through which is a nice contrast :)

I love the contrast in texture and Vesper is so pretty at one coat because you can see the black glitter in a purple base, when you use 2 or more coats it just looks very dark and you can see tiny hints of black glitter at the edges of the nail, so I prefer to use it this way :)

BARRY M GELLY PLUM & KINK TIPS

Hope your all having a good weekend, today I have some simple nail art which I did recently. 

I started off with 2 coats of Barry M Gelly in Plum (btw this is a pretty much dead on dupe for OPI Vant To Bite My Neck?) I left this on for a day and didn't apply topcoat, unfortunately when I woke up the next morning I was left with some sheet marks (which you can see in the pictures) 

I then used some tape and painted on Illamasqua Kink on to the tips.  

I really like this colour combination and the overall look, what do you think?

OPI BLUE TAPE MANI

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, it was a busy day yesterday which is why I didn't get to post for International Nail Art Day. We went on a day trip to Hampton Court Palace which is a 4 hour drive from us, we had a lovely day but ended up home really tired ! What did you guys get up to?

For these nails I did 2 coats of OPI Can't Find My Czechbook and when that was dry I used striping tape and created the following design by painting on OPI Swimsuit Nailed It.

LIGHTNING NEVER STRIKES TWICE !

loll, bonjour ladies i'm soooo tired today and i don't think i'm feeling well but i wanted to show you this design i did a while ago, i was inspired by the tape mani's from nailside, i decided to do a small lightning bolt and whilst the gold i painted was still wet i dipped my nail in gold glitter ! this is the first time i tried a tape mani and i have to admit i was quite pleased with the way it turned out they were quite crisp imo, but then i realised once the glitter was on you couldn't see the lines underneath clearly : ( 

it looks a bit messy over here
