HOLOGRAPHIC BRUSHSTROKE BUTTERFLY WING NAILS

Tgif right? I'm so tired today, it's been a crazy week!
So for these nails I used some of the holographic polishes from the China Glaze OMG Collection. I used OMG, L8R G8R, DV8, QT, LOL, 2NITE for the brushstroke pattern on all the nails, it was rather subtle especially in the sun when the holographicness was showing.
I then used some black acrylic paint to paint on the wings and did some small white dots. I didn't apply topcoat because I liked the mate effect overall and the topcoat would have dulled the holographicness!

Right, so what do you think of that then?

BUTTERFLY WING GRADIENT NAILS

Can you beleive this is my first time attempting the butterfly wing nail art, I guess when you see a lot of a design everywhere it kinda makes you feel satisfied so it never appears on your own nails! Anyways I finally decided to try it and was kinda disappointed with the result, my lines just weren't neat and it just didn't look right, so I am going to have to try these again !

For this I started off with a gradient using Kiko 340, China Glaze For Audrey and and unnamed light pink Color Club, when that was dry I topped it off with one coat of China Glaze Glistening Snow before drawing on the the butterfly pattern. I've actually done a tutorial for these which I'll probably post tomorrow.

My middle finger was probably my favourite but I think I need more practice. What do you think about this nail design, do you like the whole wing nail art thingy?, have you tried it out?

ONE STROKE BUTTERFLY NAILS

Hi guys, have you entered my giveaway here?
I hope your enjoying warmer weather wherever you may be because we certainly are here in the uk! The lovely weather is what inspired these nails, clear blue skies and pretty butterflies!
So for this I started off with two coats of Color Club Take Me To Your Chateau, then sponged on a little bit of white for clouds before applying one coat of Revlon Whimsical (simply because it's pretty and I haven't used it in ages). When that was dry I used the one  stroke technique to paint on the butterfly wings and finally added the rest of the detail with black acrylic paint before topcoating it all!

This design was far from perfect but I really enjoyed these nails, so summery and happy, what do you guys think?
