BLACK & WHITE GRADIENT NAILS & RAINBOW GLITTER

Hey guys, I'm sorry for not posting but I'm sure you all know what it's like when exams are so close! 

So now I've done quite a few gradients I felt like it was time to try the black and white gradient, which I think can be difficult to get a smooth transition. I applied one coat of OPI Alpine Snow and then used it with OPI Lady in Black for the gradient and (minus the bit of sponge on my middle finger) I'm really happy with it! I did decide to snazz it up a bit with one coat of Lippmann Happy Birthday on the accent nail. 

Ok, I hope to get another post in next week but there's no promises, until then remember to smile :D

LIME CRIME GRADIENT

Hi guys, what have you all been up to this weekend? I didn't really do anything yesterday other than watching tv and doing some work but today I'm going shopping yaay! 

So on to today's nails, I recently got some Lime Crime polishes in a blog sale and thought I'd use them together in a gradient, I used Peaches & Cream and Parfait Day.

This was a pain to do, I had to do about 4 coats of the gradient and bits of sponge got stuck on the nail and it just really annoyed me, so I applied one coat of Maybelline Chalk Dust over the top to make it look a bit better, it didn't really work so there's only 2 pictures!

TRIBAL NINJA NAILS

Hi guys, hope you had a nice Monday, for this mani I was lacking inspiration and so just sat and stared at the polishes on my table for ages and I ended up with this! 

I was inspired by a design I saw on Instagram somewhere, unfortunately I can't remember where, sorry! 

So I did two coats of Collection 2000 Ninja and then used black and white acrylic paint for the rest of the design, I'm not sure if Ninja is still available, I got mine years ago!

It's a really simple and easy design to do but looks so cool I think! Let me know if you want a tutorial for this design!

FLORMAR DUO 2X CHROME DC07 & ONE STROKE FLOWERS

Hi everyone, hope your week is going well so far and if not then there's only 2 days left ; ) 

Anywho when I was in Turkey I knew I had to pick up some of the Flormar Ducohrome polishes but unfortunately they didn't have them in any of the places where Flormar was sold :( 

In their shop however I managed to find this DC07 and although I couldn't really see any duocrhome in the bottle it still looked pretty and I was in a hurry! 

When I got home and tried it I was disappointed, there is no duochrome visible at all and although it's a pretty colour I can't see myself reaching for this one again ! 

To make it a bit more interesting I added some one stroke flowers in black and white. I love the contrast of the black and white flowers against the complex colour, I did a similar thing here. 

I think the nail art saved it for me!

MISTY BLUSH WITH MORE ONE STROKE NAIL ART

Hi guys, I'm really cold and I have a lot of work to do so you'll probably see about 5 more posts from me, mainly because it takes too long to edit the photos! Anywho onto today's nails...

I already had Layla Misty Blush on and it's such a gorgeous colour and holo, the holo effect is really strong but it doesn't totally mask the unique base colour ! 

So after a full day of wearing this I decided to add some nail art, I wanted to try out some more one stroke flowers. This time I decided to do them in black and white because Misty Blush flashes every colour of the rainbow and I thought it would be a nice contrast!

I did like a double petal flower thing on my pinky and pointy finger but it's not very noticeable. I didn't topcoat this design as I didn't want to dull the holo underneath!

Unfortunately I  didn't have the sun available to take some shots in direct sunlight to show off the full potential of the holo so all the shots below are with a daylight bulb but just imagine the holo rainbow to be 10x as strong ;) 

The thing I most loved about this mani was the contrast between the intense holo and the black and white art! What do you guys think? Is this something you would wear?

MONOCHROME GLEQUIN NAILS

I'm so tired but I had to show you this awesome mani I did a little while ago !

I bought some black matte hex glitter from ebay about a year ago hoping to be able to use it for frankening but after a few weeks it lost it's colour (which annoyed me a little because the small pot was about £3.50) so they'd just been sitting in the draw for ages ! So the other day I decided to use them as glequins ! Unfortunately these are a bit smaller then the regular Born Pretty Store glequins which may be the reason it took me about 3 hours to do these 4 nails (I didn't do the thumb because  at that point I was going cross eyed lol !) 

Anyways, not really got anything else to say about these nails, they were very simple to do but very very time consuming ! The overall effect though is one of the best in my opinion, what do you think?

W7 SALT & PEPPER

Hi guys, I'm really sorry I haven't posted in such a long time ! It's been a busy & nervous week ; ) Those of you in the uk will know that the A level results were released on Thursday , so I was a nervous wreck last week but thankfully I got 2 A's & a B : D 

Anyway yeah so then for the weekend we went to my uncles house (he lives at the seaside : ) and we decided to go to the Lake District on Saturday, which is honestly a gorgeous place, and the weather was amazing too : ) We had such a good day and took soo many pictures : ) 

Anyways so we came home yesterday, stuck on the motorway for 2 hours in traffic because of a stranded lorry ! So yeah I didn't really get much time to type up this post for you but I promised myself to do it today for you guys : )

So here is another of the w7 sprinkles - Salt and Pepper, needless to say I love this, the layered look of the glitter is gorgeous, this was 2 coats below and it wasn't gritty either ! I wore this matte but I can't seem to find the pictures I may have forgotten to take any ! oops, sorry !

Anyways, so yeah I say anyway a lot ! oops, sorry. 

Do you guys have this? Do you like it ? Me? I love it : D

JELLY BEANS !

I have soo many mani's to show you, for the past 3 weeks I've been changing my mani every single day but haven't had a chance to post regular notd, so my nails will probably be different lengths in these posts !
I'll try to start from the beginning...


Yep here are jelly beans, on my nails, 
I painted all my nails white as a base coat and then using various polishes ( I can't remember but if you desperately need to know just ask !) and a dotting tool I painted on these jelly beans !

What do you think? do you like them ?

JACK SKELLINGTON HALLOWEEN NAILS (sort of )

Yep, damn! it was only after i did these nails i realised it was based on a christmas film but oh well anyway here is the mani i did last night

sorry for the very short post but i have a tonne of work to do and i'm sooo tired too anyway more halloween designs coming up tomorrow !! : )
