ILNP NOSTALGIA & 18K GOLD LEAF

Hi everybody, hi Dr Nick  how are you all on this lovely Thursday? My parents are coming back from Barcelona tomorrow and they have a big haul for me :) I'm so excited!
So I remember seeing this gorgeous mani  a while ago and I knew I had to recreate it, so I did, well not exactly but I wanted to apply some gold leaf to a multichrome. I used 3 coats of Ilnp Nostalgia and because my gold leaf wasn't accessible at the time I used Rococo 18K Gold Leaf Top Coat on top.

I love the look of the gold leaf on top, I think it just looks so beautiful. I'm going to have to do this every time I wear a multichrome now, haha! You should definitely try it out too, you'll love it :)

ZOYA VERUSCHKA & ROCOCO GOLD LEAF

Hi guys, I hope you enjoyed your weekend, mine has been lovely and relaxing :)
Anywho so here's another mani from the vault, I saw this combination over at (I can't remember, I'll check tomorrow and update it) and I fell in love with it instantly so had to recreate it !
So this is 2 coats of Zoya Veruschka and 1 coat of Rococo Gold Leaf, all topped off with one coat of NYC Turbo Dry.

Ahh, so beautiful :) Love, love, love this combo! What's your favourite combination with the gold leaf topcoats?

18K GOLD TOP COAT COMPARISONS

Hi guys, ok so here is another quick post ! I recently got Rococo Gold Leaf topcoat from Ebay for a good price, some of you may be familiar with this polish, it was the first (I think) gold leaf topcoat and was released a few years ago ! I had wanted it for a long time but then, £35 is a lot !

Anywho I decided to compare it to the other 2 gold leaf topcoats I own; namely, Sephora by OPI - It's Real 18k Gold tc and OPI - The Man With The Golden Gun !
I've layered one coat of each over China Glaze Up all night,
the ring and pointer finger have the Rococo, the middle has the OPI and the pinky is the Sopi !

L-R - Rococo, OPI, Rococo, Sopi

Ok so you can see the Sopi has the smallest flakes but is the densest and doesn't require much/any dabbing

The OPI is the least dense and the flakes are mid size and sparse, which requires quite a bit of dabbing and placing of the flakes

The Rococo is rather dense and has a mix of larger and mid size flakes, you get a lot of flakes on the nail but you need to move them around on the nail !

My favourite? The Sopi ! Yours?
