SPICE NAILS WITH BARRY M GELLY

Hola guys! So uni is now finished for Christmas and I had the loveliest day yesterday, I went to the Christmas markets, had crepes, went ice skating for the first time (I was awful, I fell 5 times) and ended it all with a lovely dinner. It's been really busy these past 2-3 weeks so I'm really happy to have nothing to do today :)
Today I have some nails which were completely inspired by the collection they came out with. I am talking about the Barry M Winter Gelly collection, I picked up the shades Mustard, Chilli, Paprika, Cardamom and Chai (which I didn't use in this design) I love the spice names and so decided to use all 4 of the polishes and then frame each nail with silver Art Deco acrylic paint* to look like a spice box! I'm not sure it fully worked but it still looks good right?

ESSENCE DENIM EFFECT JEANS NAIL ART

Hey guys, 2 posts in one day? Wow that never happens here! So tonight I have a really pretty nail polish from Essence to show you. This is the Denim Effects polish in 07 Blue Jeaned*, a pretty blue with shimmer and a bit of texture. I used 2 coats of the Essence and it dried to a lovely semi-matte finish, I decided to use the Barry M Nail Art Pen in White to frame my nails with stitching.

And here's a bonus picture of the nails with top coat.

HOLOGRAPHIC DISC FRAMED NAILS

Hey guys, how are you all doing, aren't you glad it's Friday? I'm ill at the moment which is just a pain in the rear when you still have to go to uni and work! Remember how fun it being ill used to be when you were younger, you got the day off school to stay in bed and watch tv all day and have your mum fuss over you *sigh*
Anyway let's talk nails, I don't know what I was thinking when I did these nails and I wasn't going to post them but yeah, here you go. I started off with 2 coats of Orly Smolder and then used the holographic silver and gold disc glequins to frame the nail. I think my nails are just too short here so it doesn't look good but it might look nicer on longer nails!

Ok guys, hopefully I'll see you tomorrow, take care until then :)

BUTTER LONDON SCALLYWAG

Hi guys, how are you all? I've had exams this week which is why I haven't blogged but I finished yesterday so today has been about nails, nail polish and blogging : )
So I have so much to show you but I have loads of posts from last year which I never got round to showing you and my brain will start to itch if I don't post stuff in order ; ) haha!
So this is two coats of Butter London Scallywag, a gorgeous vibrant turquoise glitter.
This is really topcoat thirsty though, I applied about 3 coats of topcoat and it still had a gritty look/feel!

Ok, so then I applied gold and silver hex glequins as frames on my index and pinky finger

FRAMED GLEQUIN NAILS

Hi guys, so I am loving gleequins recently, I mean I'm completely obsessed and have to use them in every mani in some way, shape or form! I work in the afternoons and evenings so I have quite a lot of free time at the moment which is why I can spend a lot of time on my nails :)
So for this I started off with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Instadri Whirlwind White and then I used the blue and green glequins in the Born Pretty set and just placed them in a framed pattern !

I really liked it, it was insanely sparkly and reflective !

DRAGON FRUIT NAILS

Welcome to all my new followers, I'm happy to have you all here and I hope you like what you see and stick around
So I have been wanting some dragon fruit for quite a while, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere : ( But looking at yummy pictures reminded me of w7 Salt n' Pepper and so this mani was created !
I actually did this before but I painted the pink frames over the w7 but the black glitter showed through and it just looked like a mess so I redid it and this time painted Barry M Shocking pink first and then painted the w7 on after, but I had to go over the tips with the pink again so you can see some of the glitter peeking through, but I can live with that !

Do you like it ? Do you like Dragon fruit?

OUT THE WINDOW

So, it's safe to say I'm a fan of doing framed nails, I'm not crazy about how they look but I really enjoy drawing them on lol ; ) (I think I've already told you this !)
Anyway so yes I had this idea and it turned out ok, I turned the black frame into window frames and drew wonky black lines to make it look more windowy and then because I had time I drew on some curtains on the accent nail and I tried to give it some life by shading but I'm not sure it really worked out well ! Also I drew on a little birdy but kinda upside down lol , oops !

Hhhhm, so,  yes that's a bit of sponge on the pointy finger lol ! What do you guys think ? Do you like it ? I do : ) Ok so talk to you all soon, take care for now : )

DOTTED FRAMES

Hi guys, this post wasn't meant to be so late ! Sorry we have been crazy busy since Friday, Saturday we went to a family friends house and got home at 2am , then Sunday we went to a different friends house and got home at midnight, and today we had some family friends round ours and we've spend the whole day cooking and cleaning and so I haven't really had time to post ! I was supposed to show you w7 Salt n pepper today but I haven't edited the photo's yet and I'm feeling too tired to do it now! Anyway onto nail stuff now

I'm rather a fan of framed nails, I like doing them more than wearing them, lol  ; ) So for this I used Dim Sum Plum from Opi and dotted on the frames they aren't as neat as I'd wanted but they look a lot better irl than in the photos :  )

I know some people don't like framed nails but what do you guys think about this ?
