LACE NAILS!

Hi everyone, I hope you're all enjoying the holidays, it's nearly the end though isn't it!
So today I have some stamping nails to share with you, I am obsessed with lace nails and they are tricky to do freehand, well for me anyway. So I am very excited about this lace stamping plate* from Born Pretty Store and this stamper*.
For these nails I just wanted classic lace nails so I used Barry M Gelly in Coconut for the base colour and then w7 Black for the stamping. This plate is awesome, the designs are pretty, well engraved and just easy to use. This was also my first time using a 'squishy' stamper and it's amazing, honestly this just makes stamping so easy I want to crack out all my plates and stamp over everything!  I highly recommend it.

NUDE & NEON HALF MOON NAIL ART

Hello everyone, how are you all tonight?
I have some half moon nail art for you all, I used OPI San Tan Tonio as my nude base colour and then I painted a half moon using Morgan Taylor Making Waves, once that was dry I used black acrylic paint to paint on the details over the half moon.
I loved the contrast between the bright blue and the nude.

PISTACHIO NAILS

Hi everyone, how are you all today? Today I decided to make a trip to Sally's and got some amazing polishes, most of which are gifts but I like shopping for gifts so I'm happy :)
Tonight I have some nail art which I did a while ago, I shared a sneak peek on instragram a while ago and I absolutely love these!
This whole design was inspired by the colour Citrus Green* from the Deco Art acrylic paints. The green just reminded me of pistachios and I had to paint them on my nails because that's what normal people do right?!
I used 2 coats of Orly Pure Porcelain as a base colour and them painted on the pistachio kernels first by mixing together white, brown and hint of yellow paints to get the right colour. I then painted in the pistachios using Citrus Green* and Grasshopper Green* acrylic paints by Deco Art. I then outlined everything with black acrylic paint.

Love it! This is probably the most realistic nail art I've done, realistic nail art is still unfamiliar territory for me and a tad bit frightening so I'm trying it out a slowly.

NEON KOOKY NAIL WRAP NAIL ART

Hi guys, yes I'm still here! Tonight is a very quick post with these nails.
I used a base coat of Nails Inc and then cut up some of the neon Kooky wraps I had.
I made a very quick tutorial for this which I have yet to edit and I'll post soon.

ESSENCE CANDY LOVE LACE NAILS

Hey guys, how are you all? How's your day been? I think I'm becoming ill yet again, this is so weird because I'm normally never ill or if I am it's only once a year but this year in the past 3 months this is the 3rd time I'm becoming ill :(
Anywho I have recently been infatuated with lace nails and since I discovered I can actually paint something on my nails which resembles lace, it's all I've been doing!
So for these nails I used this gorgeous Essence polish in Candy Love* and then used black acrylic paint to paint on the detail on my ring finger.

ONE STROKE BOW NAILS

Hey guys, today I have a quite post for you.
I saw some one stroke bow nails on instagram and I knew I had to give them a try. I used Essence Dare It Nude* for a base and then purple and white acrylic paint for the bow before outlining it in black acrylic paint and then I ruined it by adding those 'creases' on the bow which ended up looking silly.

ESSENCE NAUGHTY AND PINK 107 CHEVRON NAILS

Hey guys, so do you remember about a month ago I mentioned going to an Essence bloggers launch event? Prior to this event I went down to London for a little nail girl meetup and we stopped by the newly opened Essence kiosk in Westfields and of course, we all bought quite a few things! The following week I visited the new Essence kiosk in the Manchester Arndale Centre and picked up a few more things from there which included the nail polish I'm showing you today! The following weekend I went to the Bloggers Event and had such a great time, I did take pictures on my phone which I shared on my twitter and instagram so be sure to follow me on there to see. At the event we got a really big goody bag and then were told we could take anything which took our fancy! Needless to say I got lots of nail goodies from there too. I've been busy for the past 4 days swatching and doing lots of nail art with them so I will be sharing all of those soon!
Phew! aand take a breath, are you still with me?
Ok so for these nails I started with 2 coats of OPI My Vampire is Buff on all my fingers except the ring finger where I applied 2 coats of Essence Naughty and Pink 107. When the OPI was dry I applied these chevron nail vinyls from She Sells Seashells and painted on one coat of the Essence and whilst it was still wet I peeled off the vinyl and then added top coat. On my ring finger I added this cute little mermaid embellishment which is also from She Sells Seashells

Just wanted to say the Essence pink isn't as bright as it looks in these pictures but it's still pretty awesome!
Wow, if your still with me you deserve a medal!

WATERCOLOUR FLOWER NAIL ART

Hey guys, so it's not often that I'm blown away by a nail design! the last time I was, however, was when I laid eyes on these nails by Lucy's Stash, it honestly took my break away and couldn't wait to try it for myself. So for these nails I did 2 coats of OPI My Vampire Is Buff and then used watered down purple acrylic paint. Go and check out her tutorial to see how to do these, obviously mine didn't turn out as well as Lucys! I did the same flower on my accent nail as well but the thumb turned out better so I thought I'd just show you the thumb instead!

Ok, I have a splitting headache so I'm going to bed!

LACE NAILS WITH VERTICAL ILLAMASQUA GRADIENT

Hey guys, how are you all?
So I decided to do another vertical gradient and this time I used Illamasqua Stance* and Monogamous. It was super easy to do and I love the colours together. Once that had dried I used the Barry M Nail Art Pen in Black to draw on this lace design I saw on instagram.

MERMAID TAIL NAILS

Happy Sunday :) I was doubting posting todays nails because they're a bit of a nail fail in my eyes but then I thought hey why not?
For these nails I started off with 2 coats of OPI My Vampire Is Buff and then used some turquoise acrylic paint to paint on the details and then used some holographic blue and gold rhombus glequins* which I received from DesignsByV for my ring finger and I place one gold glequin on the rest of the nails.

Not a very good glitter placement but hey no ones perfect.
I have a busy week ahead of me so I don't think I'll post every day but enjoy your week guys :)
