DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMAN?

Happy Friday guys, have you got any nice plans for the weekend? I'll be spending my weekend studying and I'm expecting some very exciting nail mail which I hope to have swatched and posted this weekend for you guys :)
So Frozen. I went to go and watch it back in January and my friend is obsessed with the songs, seriously she sings them all day, even when we're being blown off Mount Snowdon! Haha, so with that song ringing in my ears I decided to do some Olaf nails, because how could I not?
To begin with I applied two coats of  Kiko 340 and then used Color Club Chelsea Girl and Kiko 340 and a makeup sponge to do a gradient on all my nails, I applied one coat of Claire's Fluffy (which I reviewed here) and drew Olaf on my middle finger.

'Hi I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs'

GEOMETRIC NAILS

Hey guys, so today I have a really simple and easy to do nail art. I saw these nails on instagram but I can't remember who did them, I'll check my phone and update this post.
I started these nails with 2 coats of Gosh High School Flirt, when this dried I used black acrylic paint and a striper brush to paint on random lines; where the lines overlapped I used Illamasqua Nomad, Jo'mina and Kiko 340 to colour in random shapes, and that's it!

I really liked these, simple and easy to do but they still look awesome.

BLUE TEXTURED TIPS

Hi everyone, how have you all been, have you had a good weekend?  So yesterday I went on a Mount Snowdon trek, unfortunately we didn't make it to the top becuase of poor weather conditions, namely ice/snow and really strong winds which completely knocked you over! It was still a fun day though and I am planning on returning in the summer to reach the top ;)
Recently I bought OPI Kiss Me At Midnight, I was under the impression that this was as bright as Nails Inc Baker Street and unfortunately it's not but it's still nice. So you guys know that the first thing I do when I a textured polish is use it on the tips like I have done here and here. I decided to pair this with Kiko 336 which is a close dupe to Nails Inc Baker Street.

I was a little bit impatient and applied a fast drying topcoat and applied the tape too early so you can see the tape has left an imprint in the base colour.
Ok guys, have a lovely Monday and I'll see you in the next post : )

DICE NAILS

Hey guys, I'm so tired today, I'm falling asleep while typing this!
Anyway, I know some people complain that glitter placement takes too long so I've recently been doing some simple and easy glequin nails for you which don't take long to do either, honestly I think it took 15 minutes for me to do these nails!
Today I've decided to use some matte white circle glequins to do some dice nails!
I applied two coats of my favourite red,  Kiko 238 and then used a bit of clear topcoat and placed the white glequins where I wanted them.

Super simple, easy and fast to do and they make me think of Vegas too, haha :)

BLUE CUBE SKITTLE NAILS

Hey guys, so it's my last weekend before my second semester starts at uni so I'm editing loads of blog photos this weekend so when I'm busy all I have to do is type up the post and publish!
Today I have another vault mani to show you. I love skittles but I feel like I'm rubbish at them so hardly do them but I know that there are loads of different designs you can create with rhombus glequins so I decided to do a skittlette mani using just 3 different coluored rhombus glequins.
I started off with two coats of Kiko 340 and then made small cubes on the ring finger, a zig zag pattern on the middle nail, which I really liked and must do again, and on the pinky and pointy nails I did a small cube in the center next to the cuticle.

I quite like it but unfortunately the pictures haven't turned out as nice as I'd have liked!
To do all my nails it took about an hour which, when it comes to glitter placement, is not long. So you can try it out and it shouldn't take you too long but your nails will still be super sparkly and pretty :)

HOLOGRAPHIC GLITTER PLACEMENT NAILS

Hey guys, hope your having a nice Christmas!
Today I have some really sparkly nails to show you which I did a little while ago!
You've all seen the glitter in OPI Snow You Love Me, it's so gorgeous and unique right? Well its supposed to have a terrible formula so instead of wasting £8-£10 on a bottle I bought a small bag of the same glitter on ebay for £2 (I think) after I saw this post by Polish All The Nails.
I thought I'd look nice with a red base colour, so I started off with one coat of Kiko 238 and then I used a thick bottle of topcoat to kind of embed the glitter into because they're quite large and I didn't want them to stick up.

Urgh, I love this glitter and I've bought some more in different colours and I've also been sent some from an online store which is so beautiful and I can't wait to share with you :) Ok, so enjoy the rest of your day guys and I'll see you in the next post :)

RED & PURPLE GRADIENT NAILS

Hi guys, how was your Monday? Mine was tiring but good :)
Anywho I have another gradient to share with you today, this time I used Kiko 238 and Essence Breakthrough, I then topped it off with one of my favourite glitters toppers, OPI Which is Witch?

The end result looked messy to me so I didn't keep it on for long!

MERMAID NAILS

This was such an amazing idea in my head and it turned into a hot mess !
I got some iridescent glequins and thought they'd look really beautiful in a mermaid themed nail art.
So you want to know how I created this mess? Well, I started with 2 coats of Kiko 341 then sponged on some Essence Choose Me, then I applied all these iridescent glequins in no perfect order, when that was dry I used Barry M Gold Foil and tried to draw on some gold scales but the surface was uneven and the lines too thick which resulted in a big mess, so I stopped after two fingers and after about 30 pictures this was the only which I could consider showing you guys!

It took me ages to do these nails and it ended in disappointment unfortunately, but hey ho, win some, lose some!
