ILLAMASQUA RADIUM & POKE WITH CLAIRE'S BLACK MIX GLITTER

Hi guys, I'm really tired and I have to be up early tomorrow for uni so today I have some simple nails to show you.
For these I've used Illamasqua Radium on all the fingers except the accent nail where I applied Illamasqua Poke and then to tie all the nails together I applied one coat of Claire's Black Mix Glitter and a simple, cool mani :)

I expected some awesome nail mail on Saturday which never showed up and it'll probably turn up tomorrow when I won't have time to swatch them all week. Anywho enjoy your week and I'll see you guys soon :)

OPI DON'T TALK BACH TO ME & TEXTURED TAPED TIPS

So I actually did these nails when I got back from my holiday to the south coast! I picked up both OPI The mini Oz collection and OPI Don't Talk Bach To Me (which was on sale) on the ferry to France.
I didn't paint my nails on holiday because to be honest our cottage was horrible, like the worst cottage we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in plenty), and it was small so I didn't want to stink the place out with  nail polish, also we went exploring every day and ended up getting back quite late every night and after that we'd all be cream crackered!

Anywho so when I got back home I sat and stared at my new polishes and waited for inspiration to strike and well I ended up with this !
This is 2 coats of OPI Don't Talk Bach To Me, I then used striping tape at the tips and OPI What Wizardry is This? I was too impatient to let me contrast between the textured polish and the regular polish show through so I applied a nice thick layer of topcoat.

As you can see I was maybe a little too impatient and knocked my pinky!

BONDI - THE LIMELIGHT FISHTAIL NAILS

Hi guys, I hope you had a good weekend.
Today I thought I'd share with you all a new nail polish brand !

'Bondi New York is a collection of 20 fashion forward colors which are free from formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, DBP and toluene. The collection has been formulated to be long lasting and chip resistant. Fast Facts about Bondi New York:
  • 5 free (formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, DBP & toluene).
  • 20 fashion forward colors which will launch twice a year, as well as four limited edition collections.
  • Available via select on line retail partners, as well as bondinewyork.com.
  • 100% of the net profit (after costs) is donated to our non-profit which makes grants to organizations like Food Bank for New York City.'
So that's a bit of background about the company, now onto the polish. I chose The Limelight as it looked the most unique and I don't think I have a dupe, (I just checked and I dont :).
The polish took just over a week to arrive and came beautifully packaged and also included a lovely Thankyou card, I shared a picture on my Instagram so go and check that out if your interested.
I applied 3 coats here, the formula was a little streaky at 2 but otherwise applied beautifully ! It dries to a  satiny finish so topcoat is needed if you want a glossy look!
The colour is a beautiful bright lime perfect for summer, I will definitely be wearing this again when the sun starts to make more of an appearance!
I added a bit of nail art to jazz it up a bit (not that it needed it) I used green and black acrylic paint and drew on these fishtails!
End Result = I love it !

I must add I love the bottle and the black satin cap (which I actually just found out is removable!)

These polishes retail for $15.00 here, which means it is a bit on the pricey side but the formula, the colours and the overall ordering experience means it's worth every penny, in my opinion!

Bondi polishes can be bought from their website or from Harlow&Co, I definitely recommend you check them out!

*Some of the products in this post were sent to me for my honest review. See my disclosure policy for more details

LIME UP & WHIRLED AWAY

Hi guys, hope your having a nice weekend :) Today I have another polish from the China Glaze Cirque Du Soliel collection. This is Whirled Away, the matte black and white glitter top coat.
In all the reviews that  read of this people had said it was a pain to apply and the white glitters were particularly difficult to get out; so when I got it I was prepared for the worst but thankfully it wasn't that bad !
I was going to get Def Defying but I thought it might be a dupe for Essence Lime Up so I passed on it and this was the first combo I created with Whirled Away.
For the accent nail I did a drag marble design with Lime Up and OPI A Grape Fit, it looked quite cool but then I applied Whirled Away and it kind of ruined it !

ASYMMETRICAL TIPS

Hi guys, hope your all doing well, I don't really have much time to talk today we are heading out for dinner soon but I'm posting this now because our internet isn't working properly and randomly stops working for as long as it wants !
Anyway onto nail business, this was just a random, see how it turns out kind of mani, I started off with 2 coats of Essence  Got a secret (which is my favourite grey creme !) Then I used striping tape and painted on the green bits with Essence Lime up (which is another of my favourite creme's) and then I used Barry M turquoise to paint on the other blue tips, I was impatient with this mani which is why it's not looking so good but that's it really, simple and cute  : )

I'm not going to enlarge these pics guys because up close my cuticles look soo dry, it's just awful & distracting !
