BARRY M FALL GRADIENT

Hi guys, sorry for the absence. Unfortunately I feel like I'm losing my polishing mojo which makes me sad, I haven't done my nails properly since starting uni again and it hasn't really bothered me. I'm often just too tired to sit and do my nails and I haven't really missed it, I won't lie. I'm hoping this is just a phase and I snap out of it because this blog and nail polish has bought me so much happiness and got me through some really dark times and not to mention I've invested a lot on my collection!
So today I have yet another gradient mani using the Barry M Gelly winter polishes. I saw a very similar gradient by Coewless Nails on instagram and when I had the Barry M's in front of me and knew I had to try it out for myself. I used Mustard and Paprika for the gradient and then topped it off with OPI The Man With The Golden Gun for a more 'fall' look.
I'm really happy with the way it turned out and just think it screams autumn and yes I know we're in winter now ;P

ILNP NOSTALGIA & 18K GOLD LEAF

Hi everybody, hi Dr Nick  how are you all on this lovely Thursday? My parents are coming back from Barcelona tomorrow and they have a big haul for me :) I'm so excited!
So I remember seeing this gorgeous mani  a while ago and I knew I had to recreate it, so I did, well not exactly but I wanted to apply some gold leaf to a multichrome. I used 3 coats of Ilnp Nostalgia and because my gold leaf wasn't accessible at the time I used Rococo 18K Gold Leaf Top Coat on top.

I love the look of the gold leaf on top, I think it just looks so beautiful. I'm going to have to do this every time I wear a multichrome now, haha! You should definitely try it out too, you'll love it :)

3 COLOUR ILLAMASQUA GRADIENT & OPI PURE

Hi my friends, how are you all? I am exhausted so I'm not going to bore you with my nonsensical ramblings, instead I'll just show you pretty nails :)
For these nails I started off with one coat of white polish, I then Illamasqua Force, Obsess and Muse for this 3 colour gradient. I then applied one coat of OPI Pure 18k White Gold Top Coat on top. I didn't apply top coat to this so it's not got a very shiny finish.
This is not totally colour accurate but I lurve it ;)

WIP BANDEAU & OPI PURE

Hi my beautiful friends, how was your weekend? It went so fast for me, well I guess my weekend started today but still it's gone too fast! Anywho I dyed my hair red today and I love it! It's not a fire engine red it's  just lovely, it is a bit patchy and I have a random pink bit but it still looks good, well at least I think so, haha!
So today I shall be showing you some simple nails. I received this beautiful purple polish by WIP (which is sold in Urban Outfitters) from Sarah, actually both of the polishes I used for these nails were sent to me by Sarah. I decided to add one coat of OPI Pure which is an 18K White Gold and Silver Leaf Top Coat.

I love this combination, do you own OPI Pure?

OPI IN MY SANTA SUIT & OPI PURE

Hey guys, I've had a rubbish weekend and so I'm going to paint my nails with my new Illamasqua Destiny, which I got from some awesome people who I extremely grateful to :)
Ok so for today I'm showing you a lovely, simple combination I wore recently. I started off with two coats of OPI In My Santa Suit (which is gorgeous) and then topped it off with one coat of OPI Pure, an 18K white gold and silver top coat which I got in a swap with the lovely Sarah. This looked so luxurious and regal, me likey :)

Ok, guys enjoy the rest of your weekend and I hope you all have a lovely Monday :)

ASIAN WEDDING INSPIRED NAILS

Hi everyone, so I'm back from my holiday, I had such an amazing time and now have a bad case of the holiday blues :(
Anywho onto the nails, a while ago I needed to do some nails for my friends wedding but I was clueless! Asian weddings normally have a lot of rich colours in them so I needed some nails to match. So I sat and stared at my stash for about 5 minutes before inspiration struck! I decided to go with a shimmery red and orange gradient topped off with gold flakes because whats an Asian wedding without gold?
I started off with one thin coat of Orly Flicker and then did a gradient with Orly Smolder and Flicker.
The two colours are so rich and deep and just look like they're glowing, I then finished it all with one coat (and a bit of dabbing) of  OPI The Man With The Golden Gun.
It didn't match my outfit exactly but it did match my Aunties outfit at her wedding about 5 years ago (if only I was as good with my nails then as I am now!)

I loved this mani so much ! Is this something you would wear?
