TEAL ILLAMASQUA COMPARISON GRADIENT & BLIZZARD & PAISLEY NAIL ART

Hey everyone, this week has been so busy! It's my besties wedding this weekend which means I won't have time to do any university work and next week is the deadline for my essay and oral presentation, which is why I was awake until 5am last night working! Anywho I have some more gradient nails to share with you today. I did these a while ago but I will be doing them again this weekend for the wedding as my outfit is teal and these will just look amazing!
I ordered Illamasqua Venous from their latest sale and when I got it I thought it may be a dupe for Illamasqua Muse and I thought some other poeple may have had the same thought. So when I held them next to each other I was happy to see they weren't a dupe but they were rather similar so I thought I'd do a little comparison of the two but in a gradient this time!
I used Venous closest to the cuticle and Muse at the tips. I then used Illamasqua Blizzard, which was another purchase from the same sale, on the pinky and pointed finger. On the middle two fingers I used the silver* Art Deco acrylic paint, which I've already raved about, to paint on the paisley design.

ILLAMASQUA FEATHER NAIL ART

Hi guys, it's Wednesday which means it's nearly the weekend (well that's how I see it!) Today I have some lovely nails art using some of the Deco Art acrylic paint.
To start off I used 2 coats of Illamasqua Load which was the perfect base colour here and then I painted on some feathers using the Deco Art acrylic paints in Tutti Frutti* Brilliant Blue* and Grasshopper Green* I also used a purple acrylic paint for the purple feathers.
This is my first time painting feathers after seeing them everywhere in the nailosphere and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy these were to do but I know that my feathers aren't perfect!

ILLAMASQUA RUTHLESS SWIRLS

Hey peeps, I'm so sorry for not posting in a week but university is just so busy at the moment! But to redeem myself today I have an amazing acrylic paint review to share with you!
You can read this post to find out more about the paints I received any my overall thoughts.
Today I'm going to give you more details about the silver shade I got. I hadn't seen metallic acrylic paints around before and ended up getting some from the Pound Shop however the opacity was dreadful and so I won't be able to use it, this left me intrigued about the silver acrylic paint I received. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was blown away! This paint is amazing, opaque with just one coat and just the perfect formula which is why I can do the following design with it! This is in the shade Silver Morning  and you get this from Art Discount here for only £1.30 and let me tell you, it's worth every penny!
To do the nails I started off with 2 coats of Illamasqua Ruthless and then painted on the swirly design which I think I saw on Nail Lacquer UK instagram. To tie the design in with the rest of nails I used China Glaze Fairy Dust on the rest of the nails.

ILLAMSQUA CREATOR & WITCH HATS HALLOWEEN NAILS

Hey guys, how's your week going ? It's Friday tomorrow and halloween! What are you plans?
Thankyou for all your lovely comments on my recent posts, I just haven't had time to reply to them!
Tonight I have yet more halloween nails to share with you! For these nails I did 2 coats of Illamasqua Creator which reminded me off the night sky, once it was dry I used these witch hat nail vinyls from She Sells Seashells and OPI Funky Dunkey to paint over the vinyls.

HALLOWEEN BAT NAILS

Hello everybody, how was your weekend? I'm sorry I didn't blog this week but I've had a really busy week at uni which also included seeing my first patient! So I've spent the weekend trying to catch up on sleep and just generally relax a bit.
Tonight though I have another Halloween nail art design to share with you, featuring some amazing bat nail vinyls from She Sell Seashells. I really wanted these bats to stand out and ended up deciding to do an orange circular gradient for a background.
I have done this circular (or bullseye) gradient before but I haven't got round to posting them here yet. For the gradient I used Barry M Gelly in Mustard for the inner bit and then Illamasqua Insanity for the outer part of the gradient and just to darker it up a touch I also used a little bit of China Glaze Stoked To Be Soaked.
I used these nail vinyls in 2 different ways to show you how easy they are to use and how to make these vinyls go a bit further. On the ring finger I used the vinyls as a stencil and then on the other fingers I used the little inner bits of the stencil as stickers and then added top coat.
I must say I'm quite proud of how these turned out I really love them!

BEE NAILS

Hey guys, I am glad we have finally reached the end of the week! I have a huge amount of work to get through this weekend so I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to blog again.
Today I have some bee inspired nails. I used Butter London Pimms for my base colour, once it was dry I applied Illamasqua Swarm on my pointy and pinky and then I used the straight nail vinyls from She Sells Seashells and w7 black to paint on the stripes.

RAINBOW STARS!

Happy Sunday! I hope you've all had a lovely weekend and I wish you a very good week to come.
Todays nails are made up of a few of my favourite things, namely rainbows, stars and nail vinyls!
To do these nails I started with 2 coats of Essence white stamping polish which is a great white nail polish, I then used these awesome star nail vinyl stencils from She Sells Seashells to paint on the rainbow stars. Now let me attempt to name all the colours!
The red is OPI The Thrill Of Brazil, the orange is China Glaze Stoked To Be Soaked, yellow is Color Club Almost Famous, green is Illamasqua Elope (I think), light blue is I can't remember what it is! the darker blue is Barry M Gelly in Blue Grape, lilac is Barry M Gelly in Prickly Pear and finally the dark purple is  OPI Funky Dunkey.

ILLAMASQUA MERMAID NAILS

Hi guys, I have a super quick post for you today.
I decided to use 3 of my Illamasqua polishes for this lovely gradient, I used Nomad, Jo'mina and Noble. On the accent nail I sponged the gradient over the fish scale nail vinyls from She Sells Seashells.
This was also the point at which I realised I didn't own China Glaze Fairy Dust and I did in fact need it. I ordered it the next day (and still haven't used it, haha!). To make do I used OPI Snowflakes In The Air.

SUNSHINE NAILS - UK EDITION

Hi everyone, I hope your all having a lovely weekend! Today I went and picked up my very first car and I love it, then I went to my little cousins birthday party!
Today I have a fun mani to show you which to me is a true representation of the British weather.
We very rarely have a sunny day with blue skies, mostly the sun plays hide and seek with the clouds and more often than not it rains.
I have included a tutorial for you after the jump so click read more if you want to recreate these nails.
