GLISTENING SNOW

Hi guys, how are you all, did you have a lovely weekend? I've done pretty much nothing all day, but I spent the whole of Saturday painting swatch sticks !
Anyways so here is a mani I did a while ago, hope you like it !
The base coat is 2 coats of China Glaze Glistening Snow. When I first saw this polish I though meh and passed on it and then I don't know what happened but I got a huge lemming for this polish, like seriously, I NEEDED it ! Thankfully I found it on sale in the gift set :D
Then I stamped over it with Pure Ice French Kiss with the Spongeboby flowers on the CH-14 plate from the Cheeky Vibrant Collection!

Unfortunately, I couldn't take any photo's in the sun but trust me this was insanely holographic !

VALENTINES HEARTS & BORN PRETTY STAMPING POLISH REVIEW

So recently I was contacted by the Born Pretty Store people asking if I wanted to review any of their products, well of course I said yes! I choose their stamping polish set which you can find here
I'm still a novice at stamping and so far haven't tried any special stamping polish so I was excited to see what these were like.
All of the polishes were thick and pigmented and dried really fast !
So I thought I'd show you  a mani I created with these polishes and then these stamped over white and black nail polish!

Ok, so for this mani I did 2 coats of Essie Lights, 1 coat of OPI I Lilly Love You and then using the black and white stamping polishes stamped on this hearts image from the CH-16 plate from the Cheeky Vibrant Collection !

Ok so this is very girly and very bright lol, not 100% my style but for some reason I really like this and as you can see both polishes worked well for stamping, again they dried really fast so when I stamped on my nail sometimes the image didn't transfer fully but it still looks good, right !

Ok, so quickly I'll show you each polish stamped over white and black

First up the white polish
Wow, this was amazing, really really pigmented and transfers really well !

The black was also pigmented and thick but I found it dried really fast and didn't transfer as well as I would have liked

The red one transferred well on the white aswell, but as you can see it's barely visible on the black , I added topcoat to make the colour pop a bit more but it's still really faint !

The yellow was the same as the red again, it was slightly more visible on the black than the red but still faint !

Finally the blue was the same as the 2 above, pigmented but faint on the black !

So as you can see the polish works really well over light colours, they transfer well and are very pigmented and they dry really fast which means you do have to work quickly otherwise it tends not to transfer too well onto the nail! Unfortunately it's very faint on the darker colours but I guess you could stamp white first and then stamp over it with the colours to make it more visible though!
Would I recommend these? If you mainly like to stamp over dark colours then probably not, you'd probably be better offer picking up a single bottle of the white in that case, but If you don't mind stamping with white first and then the red/yellow/blue and you can line the stamping up then this set should be ok for you!
If your looking to stamp over lighter colours or just to test out some stamping polishes then yes, these would be good for you and they're really cheap considering one Konad polish can cost upto £5/$7.88 !

If you decide to pick these up, or any other nail art supplies, you can use my discount code to get 10% off :)

LITTLE DRUMMER BOY STAMPING

Hi guys, how's your weekend been? I have spent the weekend painting my nails and editing photos :D
So here are some nails I did before my exams, very easy stamping!
For this I used China Glaze Little Drummer Boy and Barry M Silver Foil (both are great for stamping) and Cheeky plate CH-13
On all the nails except the accent nail I used Little Drummer Boy as a base and stamped over it with Silver Foil. On the accent nail I just reversed the colours ! Unfortunately when I topcoated this it smudged.

Ok, so that was super quick and I will be back soon with some Valentine's looks for you.
 Take care guys :)

ESSIE BIKINI SO TEENY & VERY SUBTLE STAMPING

Not much talk today instead a quick swatch !
2 coats of Essie Bikini So Teeny, gorgeous colour !

Look at the shimmer in the bottle !

Next I stamped over it, I didn't want to ruin the delicateness of the colour, so I used China Glaze No Way Jose and the bubble image from the CH 9 plate from the Cheeky Vibrant collection

It was really subtle, not as subtle as in the photo's but still !

Sorry it's blurry but I loved this picture !

Ok, end of break, back to learning about Stalin's Russia !

CHINA GLAZE SEDUCE ME & GLEQUINS

HI guys, I'm taking a night off studying today as I'm not felling well and I'm tired ! So I'm just tucked up on the sofa with my snuggle blanket and a hot cup of tea, watching TV and editing photo's !

So these mani's I did at the end of last year but didn't get round to showing you!
I recently got nearly 100 China Glaze polishes off of ebay ( I will show you all in a haul post soon) and there were some gorgeous treasures in there ! On of them was this gorgeous, gorgeous plumy/maroon/raspberry jelly which I hadn't come across before. I introduce to you Seduce Me which I think is the perfect name for this colour !

So for this mani I painted 2 coats of Seduce Me and then on all the fingers I used  Barry M Gold Foil to stamp this funky design (which reminds me of racing flags) from the CH5 plate in the Cheeky vibrant stamping collection (more on that in another post).

Then the accent nail I added holographic gold glequins in the honeycomb style, this was my first time with glitter placement and I think it went ok, I had to move some of the glitter around on the nail which messed with the base colour a bit but otherwise it was ok !

I wasn't crazy for the overall look, not sure why but I think it was because the gold in the stamping and the glequins were too different !
What do you guys think of the mani overall?

Also, anybody know when this came out and which collection it was from? Thankyou :)
