ROSE NAILS

Hi everybody, how are you? I've spent the past 3 days working on an essay which is drawing the life out of me! I also have my besties wedding this weekend and my outfit still isn't ready!
Today I have some rose nails to share with you. I used a tutorial to paint on the rose which I saw on instagram (and I can't remember whose tutorial it was) I wasn't sure what to do as a backgroud, eventually I decided to try out a circular gradient using Zoya Ling* and Models Own Baby Blues, this was the first time I tried a circular gradient and I think it turned out ok!
I then painted on the rose on the middle finger and to tie the rest of the nails in I added a few rose petals on the other nails and I fell in love.

LIGHTNING NAILS

Hey guys, happy Wednesday!
So I actually did these nails on my nubs but they never made it to the blog because I just didn't think they looked right! But I loved the design so recreated them on my longer nails!
To do these nails I did a black and dark blue gradient on all the nails using Angelica nails in Black* (I can't remember the name, sorry) and Nails Inc Motcomb Street at the tips. I then added one coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust on all the nails to make the nails look like the night sky. For the feature nail I used a sponge and painted pink (Playboy Hot Violet*) in the middle and a circle of purple (OPI Funky Dunkey) around it, so kind of like a circular gradient, and sponged this onto the nail. and just to finish it off I added a silver lightning nail vinyl from She Sells Seashells which you can get here

HALLOWEEN BAT NAILS

Hello everybody, how was your weekend? I'm sorry I didn't blog this week but I've had a really busy week at uni which also included seeing my first patient! So I've spent the weekend trying to catch up on sleep and just generally relax a bit.
Tonight though I have another Halloween nail art design to share with you, featuring some amazing bat nail vinyls from She Sell Seashells. I really wanted these bats to stand out and ended up deciding to do an orange circular gradient for a background.
I have done this circular (or bullseye) gradient before but I haven't got round to posting them here yet. For the gradient I used Barry M Gelly in Mustard for the inner bit and then Illamasqua Insanity for the outer part of the gradient and just to darker it up a touch I also used a little bit of China Glaze Stoked To Be Soaked.
I used these nail vinyls in 2 different ways to show you how easy they are to use and how to make these vinyls go a bit further. On the ring finger I used the vinyls as a stencil and then on the other fingers I used the little inner bits of the stencil as stickers and then added top coat.
I must say I'm quite proud of how these turned out I really love them!
