THE BODY SHOP WHITE LACE STAMPING

Hey guys, today I've got the gorgeous The Body Shop Colour Crush nail polish in Mint Cream* and I know it's nowhere near spring yet but this would be gorgeous for spring time.
I used 2 coats and they applied nicely like all the other Colour Crush polishes and I didn't use topcoat in the plain swatch, it was already really shiny !
I then used this lace stamping plate* from Born Pretty Store and this stamper* on the middle finger and the pinky I used a chevron nail vinyl.  I love how delicate this looks in the end

(please excuse the cut on my pinky, this was done whilst assembling a matrix band! ouch)

LACE NAILS!

Hi everyone, I hope you're all enjoying the holidays, it's nearly the end though isn't it!
So today I have some stamping nails to share with you, I am obsessed with lace nails and they are tricky to do freehand, well for me anyway. So I am very excited about this lace stamping plate* from Born Pretty Store and this stamper*.
For these nails I just wanted classic lace nails so I used Barry M Gelly in Coconut for the base colour and then w7 Black for the stamping. This plate is awesome, the designs are pretty, well engraved and just easy to use. This was also my first time using a 'squishy' stamper and it's amazing, honestly this just makes stamping so easy I want to crack out all my plates and stamp over everything!  I highly recommend it.

ESSENCE STAMPING

Hey guys, so like I said the other day I am back at uni and this year is going to be crazy busy so there may be times when I'm a bit quite here, I'll try my best to schedule posts and stay on top but honestly I can't make any promises!
Today's nails are done using Essence Break Through which is a super gorgeous purple. I then used an Essence Stamping plate* with their black and white Stamping Polishes* for the details. I know that the little Essence logo is not meant to be an image but I just thought it was too cute to not use!
I used the Essence Stamper* and Scraper* for the stamping, I'm not a fan of the scraper but these polishes are probably the best stamping polishes I've used, I just wish they came in more colours!

HOW TO CREATE A STAMPING DECAL

Hey guys, how are you all? I'm sorry it's been nearly a week since I last posted but this week has been busy! We've had my adopted granddad staying with us and my little cousin. I've also been looking for jobs for this summer and I also spent a day 'deep cleaning' my bedroom after exams lol!
Anyway enough about me, let's talk nails. I know nearly everyone has done a tutorial for a stamping decal but I made this a while ago and it seemed like a shame to not post it. So for these nails I went for a multichrome peacock design, which I will show you how to recreate below, just click the 'read more' button.

ILNP UNDENIED & GOLD STAMPING

Hey guys, so it's been a busy few days, I had a mammoth exam yesterday (which I'm so glad is over and fingers crossed I've passed) my auntie had a baby girl in the early hours of today, and today is also my 21st birthday! For my birthday nails I'm just wearing ILNP Sirene. I haven't received any nail polish for presents but I got a gorgeous Michael Kors watch from my parents and other bits and bobs :) I also decided to treat myself to 2 of the new Ultra Chromes from the ILNP Summer collection.
Ok, so for these nails I started with 2 coats of ILNP Undenied and then I used Barry M Gold Foil and stamped on an image from the BM- 313 plate. I think this is my first stamping mani for about a year and a half! Blimey!

Like all the other Ultra Chromes by ILNP this is a stunner and I love the gold detailing with it!
Ok, I'll see you guys in my next post, enjoy your weekend :)

OPI SPOTTED THE LIZARD & SOME STAMPING

I haven't done any stamping in a really long time! So when I tried out OPI Just Spotted The Lizard I thought I'd have to stamp something over it! For these nails I used 3 coats of OPI Just Spotted The Lizard and then used an image from the BM-319 plate from the Bundle Monster 2012 collection and w7 black.

So what do you guys think? I really liked this !

INDIAN INSPIRED NAILS

A while ago I was browsing on Flickr and came across this gorgeous mani which I just had to try out
So yeah, I got to try this out the other day!
For this mani I started out with 1 coat of Essie Lights and the using Essie Bazooka and a makeup sponge I created the pink & orange gradient. Once that was dry I stamped over it using the Paisley pattern from the BM-315 using Barry M Gold Foil.
The overall effect reminded me of typical Indian/Pakistani prints and I'm so pleased with how it turned out !
I have cuticle oil on in these pictures because they were in a dreadful state so if my fingers are looking extra shiny then that's why!

RED VALENTINE'S

Hi guys, so here is a Valentine's mani I rustled up for you guys : ) I'm not a Valentine's person at all but I know some of you like seeing these types of mani's :)

Ok so for this I started off with one coat of Kiko 238 (which is an amazing red) then I sponged on Colour Club Ruby Slippers on to the tips. When that was dry I stamped on this hearts image from the CH-15 plate using the white Born Pretty stamping polish I reviewed here ! To finish off I topcoated the design with NYC Turbo Dry !

Hope you like this one :)

VALENTINES HEARTS & BORN PRETTY STAMPING POLISH REVIEW

So recently I was contacted by the Born Pretty Store people asking if I wanted to review any of their products, well of course I said yes! I choose their stamping polish set which you can find here
I'm still a novice at stamping and so far haven't tried any special stamping polish so I was excited to see what these were like.
All of the polishes were thick and pigmented and dried really fast !
So I thought I'd show you  a mani I created with these polishes and then these stamped over white and black nail polish!

Ok, so for this mani I did 2 coats of Essie Lights, 1 coat of OPI I Lilly Love You and then using the black and white stamping polishes stamped on this hearts image from the CH-16 plate from the Cheeky Vibrant Collection !

Ok so this is very girly and very bright lol, not 100% my style but for some reason I really like this and as you can see both polishes worked well for stamping, again they dried really fast so when I stamped on my nail sometimes the image didn't transfer fully but it still looks good, right !

Ok, so quickly I'll show you each polish stamped over white and black

First up the white polish
Wow, this was amazing, really really pigmented and transfers really well !

The black was also pigmented and thick but I found it dried really fast and didn't transfer as well as I would have liked

The red one transferred well on the white aswell, but as you can see it's barely visible on the black , I added topcoat to make the colour pop a bit more but it's still really faint !

The yellow was the same as the red again, it was slightly more visible on the black than the red but still faint !

Finally the blue was the same as the 2 above, pigmented but faint on the black !

So as you can see the polish works really well over light colours, they transfer well and are very pigmented and they dry really fast which means you do have to work quickly otherwise it tends not to transfer too well onto the nail! Unfortunately it's very faint on the darker colours but I guess you could stamp white first and then stamp over it with the colours to make it more visible though!
Would I recommend these? If you mainly like to stamp over dark colours then probably not, you'd probably be better offer picking up a single bottle of the white in that case, but If you don't mind stamping with white first and then the red/yellow/blue and you can line the stamping up then this set should be ok for you!
If your looking to stamp over lighter colours or just to test out some stamping polishes then yes, these would be good for you and they're really cheap considering one Konad polish can cost upto £5/$7.88 !

If you decide to pick these up, or any other nail art supplies, you can use my discount code to get 10% off :)
