TEXTURED HEART PATCHES

Hey guys, so I'm about to sit and edit about 600 photos of 10-12 different nail art designs you can do with the OPI Sheer Tints, it's been a mammoth project and I can't wait to have to post up for you!

For todays nails I started off with two coats of OPI Big Apple Red, I then used white acrylic paint and drew the outline of the hearts, after that I used OPI Emotions and a dotting tool to fill in the shapes. After that had dried I drew small patchwork lines along the shape and that's it!

I love using textured polishes in nail art, actually that's the only way I wear them, haha!

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS NAILS WITH REVLON POPULAR

Hi everyone, hope your all ok, I have the day off tomorrow so I don't have to go to sleep early ;) hehe! 

Anyways so I decided to do some nails for Breast Cancer Awareness this month and was inspired by a mani I saw on instagram by @I_heart_nailart. This was on my to do list for a long time so I'm glad I finally did it!

I started off with 2 coats of Revlon Popular (which I got from the poundshop yaay!) and then used black acrylic paint for the heart outline and boom done!

My hearts are really crooked and wonky here but hey to the untrained eye it's fine ;)

NEON HEART NAILS

Hi guys, how was your week? I'm really sorry for leaving you guys all week but I've been really tired all week because I've have 6am starts all week and that is something completely new to me!

Anywho these nails were inspired by Nory's post here, but instead I just used a white base and then dotted on the hearts, before adding a layer of topcoat. It was really simple to do and looked quite cute too :)

i used various China Glaze neon polishes for the hearts, if you want to know any of the colours leave a comment and I'll let you know

LOADED HEARTS !

So this mani almost never made it here, I'm not sure if I like it actually, this was supposed to be for Valentine's day but it didn't make it! 

So really quickly for these nails I started off with 3 coats of Illamasqua Load and red acrylic paint for the rest of the details !

Sorry for the really quick post but I'm really tired and I'm just heading off to bed ! See you tomorrow guys !

RED VALENTINE'S

Hi guys, so here is a Valentine's mani I rustled up for you guys : ) I'm not a Valentine's person at all but I know some of you like seeing these types of mani's :) 

Ok so for this I started off with one coat of Kiko 238 (which is an amazing red) then I sponged on Colour Club Ruby Slippers on to the tips. When that was dry I stamped on this hearts image from the CH-15 plate using the white Born Pretty stamping polish I reviewed here ! To finish off I topcoated the design with NYC Turbo Dry !

MY HEART SKIPS SKIPS A BEAT

Urgh, that Olly Murs song is in my head ! (I love the song but I've listened to it too  many times !)
Anyway this is my final valentines mani for you all 
I hope you like it 

For the black today, I couldn't find any of my normal black polishes so I had to use nocturnelle by mac, this reason I don't use this is because you need 2 coats to get opacity ! but anyway omg, this was as shiny as heck, I really liked the shine, I only put seche vite on this to smooth out my dodgy lines ! but the black was shinier than a jelly ! 

Anyway hope you like this mani, have a nice day ladies, take care xxx

BLOWING KISSES (ROXANNE STYLE!)

Not an awful lot to say here but I trimmed all my nails down to nubbins and then this idea hit me and again it didn't work out anywhere as good as i'd hoped ! (notice a pattern here ; P )   

It's supposed to be a man/woman  a person blowing kisses and hearts and stuff, but it didn't turn out right, firstly look at the size of the nose on that !!, So I concluded that this was supposed to inspired by the film Roxanne with Steve Martin, have you seen it?

Anyway's I have one more Valentine's mani to show you and I'll probably show you that tomorrow if I get a chance !

30 DAY CHALLENGE, DAY 11 - POLKA DOT

 i love polka dots, we all love polka dots

ok so this is what i came up, i wanted to try something a bit different and attempted a polka dot 'gradient' which i think looks best on the middle finger

i used all pastel colours and i added the black first and thought i'd make a huge mistake as it might overshadow the lighter colours,  but now i look at it i quite like it as i think it adds a bit of depth, what do you think ?

oops, i almost forgot, does anybody remember what pointillism is? it's basically drawing a pictures out of loads of tiny dots and i remember i was taught this when i was little but one of my old teachers who has sadly passed away now, but i really wanted to try this on my nails, and only tried it on my thumb, and decided i'd go for something simple, like a love heart loll

hmm, now quite as good as it looked in my head loll, unfortunately the dam red smudged and started turning yellowy yuk 

and i'm sure many of you are probably wondering when will she get her act together and sort out a giveaway, loll, well i am working on it, progress is a little slower than i'd hoped, anyway i am currently in the middle of some swaps and this challenge too, soo i've decided my giveaway will go live as soon as this challenge ends : ) *fingers crossed*
