HENNA NAIL ART

Hey guys, thankyou for the lovely comments on my last post, I really appreciate them. They're really motivate and encourage me to post more.  

So today I bring you these henna inspired nails. Can you believe I've forgotten the name of this polish? I never forget polish names! Ok, so I've just checked and this is Penny For Your Thoughts by Colors by Llarowe. This colour just makes me think of henna, I'm not actually a fan of henna on me personally but the patterns are gorgeous so I decided to paint something like that on my nails.

SWAMP NAILS WITH THE BODY SHOP

Is it Sunday again already? Time goes way too fast! I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I had a lovely much needed break from university work this weekend which has helped recharge my batteries for the upcoming week!

So tonight I have some nail art which was inspired by The Body Shop Colour Crush nail polish in Hemp Over Heels*. I decided to use it as a base for swamp nails lol! This is one my type of colours though so I love these nails but I know they might not be to everyone's taste! 

For the drips (which I haven't done in ages) I used brown acrylic paint a dotting tool and my nail art brush before adding a generous layer of topcoat.

ILLAMASQUA TAINT & HOLOGRAPHIC PURPLE MOON GLEQUINS

Hey guys, just a really quick post tonight. 

For these nails I started with 2 coats of Illamasqua Taint, when that dried I used the purple holographic moon glequins* I received from Designsbyv to make a nice stripe down the nail and I actually really like how these turned out and the purple and brown contrast. I finished it all off with 2 coats of top coat, you may need another coat because this glitter is a little bit thicker than the other glequins I use.

PURPLE & TOFFEE HOLOGRAPHIC SPARKLY GLITTER PLACEMENT NAILS :)

Hey guys, how's your weekend been? I haven't done much this weekend but I know next week is a busy one so it balances out right, haha!

So earlier today I posted a sparkly video of these nails, if you don't follow me on Instagram, be sure to because I often post sneak peeks of what's coming up on the blog!

Ok so I bought some toffee coloured holographic disc glequins and I wasn't really sure what to pair it with but I ended up settling on this lovely purple by Alix Avien, which I picked up in Turkey. 

I started off with 2 coats of Alix Avien and then just applied the glequin discs before applying two thick coats of topcoat. 

I wasn't expecting to but I really loved these

I really ended up liking these! I think the two colours work nicely together and it's sparkly and holographic, what's not to love?

BUTTER LONDON SCUPPERED

Heeyyy, so today I've got a lovely autumnal polish to show you. 

This is Butter London Scuppered, a really beautiful polish which is just too complicated to describe, I'll just let the pictures do the talking :)

ILLAMASQUA FAUX PAS & SHIMMER POLISH KATHERINE

Hi guys, hope your all having a lovely week, sorry I haven't posted this sooner but I had loads of work keeping me busy but I've got most of it done now and I'm going for a nice meal with my family tonight too so overall I'm in a good mood :)

When I received a lovely package of Shimmer Polishes from Cindy I looked at Katherine and thought 'hmm, yeah a brown glitter, ok' I'm not a fan of brown nail polish and this just didn't really do it for me but then when I paired it up with Illamasqua Faux Pas, wow, I fell in love! I did two coats of Faux Pas and used Shimmer Katherine to do a glitter gradient on the nails and then applied one coat on the whole nail for my accent nail. 

What do you think of brown nail polish?
