THE BODY SHOP PENGUINS

Hey guy, another post? Yep! So a long long time ago The Body Shop sent me 3 nail polishes and a dotting tool and asked for this penguin design.
I'm really sorry it's so late but better late than never? This is so easy to do, the only tool I used was the dotting tool. I'm pretty sure I did a tutorial, where that is though I'm really not sure?! oops
So I can't remember the name of the colours, I'll check when I go back home!

Anyway, paint on a black base, use the white(ish) colour to dot the eyes near the cuticle and then outline and fill in the white tummy of the penguin. Once it's dry use the orange to paint on the feet and nose. With the black dot on the eyes and finally use the white colour again to do the final dot of the eyes.
It's really easy and looks so cute! So give it a try!
You can get all the colours here and the dotting tool here. They make really good stocking fillers!

THE BODY SHOP WHITE LACE STAMPING

Hey guys, today I've got the gorgeous The Body Shop Colour Crush nail polish in Mint Cream* and I know it's nowhere near spring yet but this would be gorgeous for spring time.
I used 2 coats and they applied nicely like all the other Colour Crush polishes and I didn't use topcoat in the plain swatch, it was already really shiny !
I then used this lace stamping plate* from Born Pretty Store and this stamper* on the middle finger and the pinky I used a chevron nail vinyl.  I love how delicate this looks in the end

(please excuse the cut on my pinky, this was done whilst assembling a matrix band! ouch)

THE BODY SHOP CRAZY FOR BLUE NEGATIVE SPACE CHEVRONS

Hey guys, I hope your having a good weekend. My parents are going away for 2 weeks tomorrow so I'm left in charge of the house and my brothers, I don't have anything planned so I'm hoping I can paint my nails a lot.
Tonight I have for you my first negative space mani, I haven't done this before I wasn't sure I liked it but I decided to try it out quickly one night before bed for uni the next and I really liked how it came out and made my short nails look longer.
For these I just have one coat of base coat and then I used the single chevron nail vinyls from She Sells Seashells and painted the rest of the nail with The Body Shop Colour Crush polish in Crazy For Blue* which is a gorgeous navy colour. I didn't top coat these because I didn't have time, so you can see the imperfections.
I just love the new The Body Shop polishes, they really are so amazing and they look so lovely, they would make the most perfect Christmas present if your looking for a last minute gift!

SWAMP NAILS WITH THE BODY SHOP

Is it Sunday again already? Time goes way too fast! I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I had a lovely much needed break from university work this weekend which has helped recharge my batteries for the upcoming week!
So tonight I have some nail art which was inspired by The Body Shop Colour Crush nail polish in Hemp Over Heels*. I decided to use it as a base for swamp nails lol! This is one my type of colours though so I love these nails but I know they might not be to everyone's taste!
For the drips (which I haven't done in ages) I used brown acrylic paint a dotting tool and my nail art brush before adding a generous layer of topcoat.

THE BODY SHOP COLOUR CRUSH NAIL POLISH SWATCHES

Hi guys, unfortunately I am having the worst day so I thought I'd show you guys some pretty nail polishes from The Body Shops new nail polish line which is available now!
I received the shades The Body Shop Green*, Rosy Cheeks* and Hemp Over Heels*
The formulas of all the polishes were perfect, they applied so smoothly and perfectly and you only needed 2 coats for full coverage. They were also very shiny and I didn't use top coat in these swatches and to be honest you don't really need it!
I've already showed you The Body Shop Green here

Here is Hemp Over Heels

Next up is Rosy Cheeks which isn't quite as pink in real life.

Finally we have the iconic Body Shop colour, appropriately names as The Body Shop Green.

These polishes are available now in store and online here and they're only £5 and they're definitely worth every penny!

THE BODY SHOP GREEN NAILS

Happy Saturday guys, how's your weekend going? I was supposed to be going to a family friends house today but instead I'm in bed ill, super! But that does mean I was able to get my Colors By Llarowe nail mail today so that's cheered me up :)
Remember a few weeks ago when I posted the Press Release from The Body Shops new Colour Crush nail polish collection? Well the colour which stood out and got me most excited was The Body Shop Green*.
I have a review of 3 shades from the collection coming up soon but for today I'm giving you a sneaky peek at one of the colours and some nail art I created using this shade.
I started with 2 coats of The Body Shop Green which is such a gorgeous and iconic colour with a perfect formula and a really lovely brush which means it's really easy to apply this polish neatly.
On the middle finger I decided to paint on The Body Shop logo using white acrylic paint and I know it's not perfect but it's more difficult than it looks and I'm a little out of practice!

This nail polish is available from the 9th of September in selected store and nationwide from the 16th of September.
I will have a full review of this polish and the other 2 up very soon and enjoy the rest of your weekend :)
