CATRICE KING OF GREENS & HOLO GOLD STRIP GLITTER PLACEMENT

Hi my friends, how are you all? I'm super cold right now just waiting to go work.
Today I have some cute and easy glitter placement nails. In the package I received from DesignsbyV there was some gold holo bar glitter*, they're not the easiest to work with and you can't really do a full glitter placement with them. So I decided to use them to make a pattern like I've done here before.
I started off with 2 coats of Catrice King of Greens and then did the glitter placement. It wasn't difficult to do in fact it was quite easy and didn't take very long so this is something you can try out if you don't have a lot of time.

Ok, I'll see you guys tomorrow :)

HOLO STRIP GLITTER PLACEMENT

Hey guys, how are you all? I hope you've had a nice day :)
Today I spent the day eating, food shopping, watching rubbish tv and making a small dent in the enormous amount of work I have to do!
Ok, so remember when I got a lovely package of glitter from The Glitter Shop a few months back, yeah well it included a pot of gorgeous silver holographic strip glitter*. I've never ordered strip glitter before because I've never been sure of how to use it and it's rather fiddly, so when I got this I saw it as a bit of a challenge and well, this is what I came up with!
I started off with 2 coats of Sparitual Circle Of Life* and then placed the individual glitter strands and cut some of the strands down to fit the edges of the nails before applying 2 coats of topcoat. The glitter pieces did stick up a bit at the edges which drove me a bit crazy but I really liked the end result and the glitter was nowhere near as tricky to use as I initially thought!

You can buy this glitter from The Glitter Shop eBay store here. It is £1.99 for a 3ml pot, which is filled to the brim so I don't think you'll ever use it all up!
Have you ever used strip glitter for glitter placement nails before? Do you like how these turned out?

GOLDEN ROSE 217 & OPI WHICH IS WITCH?

Hi guys, I love Friday, it's my favourite day of the week, hehe!
Anyway today I have a mani from the vault because my nails are tiny nubbins right now!
I love OPI Which is Witch, it's so gorgeous and unique, for these nails I've applied one coat over Golden Rose 217. This is more green in real life but it refused to photograph correctly.

The holographicness of the glitters were really difficult to capture but this was so sparkly and holographic in real life!
Ok then guys, enjoy your weekend and I'll see you in my next post :)

OPI VANT TO BE A WITCH?

Lol at the title, yeah it's not very good at all.
Anywho I love OPI Which Witch is Which, it's one of my favourite glitter toppers now. Anyway here I've applied one coat over OPI Vant To Bite My Neck?

It's so much more holographic in real life, it upsets me that it doesn't show in the photos.

BARRY M - SILVER & BAR GLITTER FRAMED !

Oh gosh, I am on such a roll with my posting recently ! I feel so proud of myself loll !
Anyway I'm really feeling the framed nails trend recently and so for this mani I did 2 coats of Barry M silver foil (which stained my nails so badly : o !) and then I did one coat of Barry M 211 and then I used acrylic paint to add my frame and voila !

Taken with my dad's Sony nex3 (which I am soo stealing ; p )

I really loved this mani, which is surprising because I'm not able to wear silver really on my nails (unless it's holographic of course ; p ) lol
I'm really glad I my frames look a lot better now than on my first attempt here
Unfortunately when I took this off silver foil had really stained my nails orange ! I didn't use basecoat for this but I only intended to wear this mani for photos but I ended up keeping it on for 1 day ! The moral of the story - use basecoat !!! loll toodles  : )
