THE BODY SHOP WHITE LACE STAMPING

Hey guys, today I've got the gorgeous The Body Shop Colour Crush nail polish in Mint Cream* and I know it's nowhere near spring yet but this would be gorgeous for spring time.
I used 2 coats and they applied nicely like all the other Colour Crush polishes and I didn't use topcoat in the plain swatch, it was already really shiny !
I then used this lace stamping plate* from Born Pretty Store and this stamper* on the middle finger and the pinky I used a chevron nail vinyl.  I love how delicate this looks in the end

(please excuse the cut on my pinky, this was done whilst assembling a matrix band! ouch)

LACE NAILS!

Hi everyone, I hope you're all enjoying the holidays, it's nearly the end though isn't it!
So today I have some stamping nails to share with you, I am obsessed with lace nails and they are tricky to do freehand, well for me anyway. So I am very excited about this lace stamping plate* from Born Pretty Store and this stamper*.
For these nails I just wanted classic lace nails so I used Barry M Gelly in Coconut for the base colour and then w7 Black for the stamping. This plate is awesome, the designs are pretty, well engraved and just easy to use. This was also my first time using a 'squishy' stamper and it's amazing, honestly this just makes stamping so easy I want to crack out all my plates and stamp over everything!  I highly recommend it.

SPRING FLOWER GLEQUIN NAILS

Hi guys, I'm still obsessed with glequins but when I did these nails I didn't have a patience to do my whole nail so I decided to create these simple, cute flowers which totally remind me of spring  !
I started off with 2 coats of Color Club Take Me To Your Chateau (which I really really love) Then I just applied a dot of topcoat where I wanted to apply the glequins. I used the pale green and the pale pink glequins from the Born Pretty Store set !

My placement isn't perfect but these are so darn shiny in real life you really can't tell at all!

It looked really awesome in real life, the colours worked so well together! Do you like it? The weathers been so pants here recently so these nails make me a feel a little closer to spring ! Lol ! What's the weather like where you are?

VALENTINES HEARTS & BORN PRETTY STAMPING POLISH REVIEW

So recently I was contacted by the Born Pretty Store people asking if I wanted to review any of their products, well of course I said yes! I choose their stamping polish set which you can find here
I'm still a novice at stamping and so far haven't tried any special stamping polish so I was excited to see what these were like.
All of the polishes were thick and pigmented and dried really fast !
So I thought I'd show you  a mani I created with these polishes and then these stamped over white and black nail polish!

Ok, so for this mani I did 2 coats of Essie Lights, 1 coat of OPI I Lilly Love You and then using the black and white stamping polishes stamped on this hearts image from the CH-16 plate from the Cheeky Vibrant Collection !

Ok so this is very girly and very bright lol, not 100% my style but for some reason I really like this and as you can see both polishes worked well for stamping, again they dried really fast so when I stamped on my nail sometimes the image didn't transfer fully but it still looks good, right !

Ok, so quickly I'll show you each polish stamped over white and black

First up the white polish
Wow, this was amazing, really really pigmented and transfers really well !

The black was also pigmented and thick but I found it dried really fast and didn't transfer as well as I would have liked

The red one transferred well on the white aswell, but as you can see it's barely visible on the black , I added topcoat to make the colour pop a bit more but it's still really faint !

The yellow was the same as the red again, it was slightly more visible on the black than the red but still faint !

Finally the blue was the same as the 2 above, pigmented but faint on the black !

So as you can see the polish works really well over light colours, they transfer well and are very pigmented and they dry really fast which means you do have to work quickly otherwise it tends not to transfer too well onto the nail! Unfortunately it's very faint on the darker colours but I guess you could stamp white first and then stamp over it with the colours to make it more visible though!
Would I recommend these? If you mainly like to stamp over dark colours then probably not, you'd probably be better offer picking up a single bottle of the white in that case, but If you don't mind stamping with white first and then the red/yellow/blue and you can line the stamping up then this set should be ok for you!
If your looking to stamp over lighter colours or just to test out some stamping polishes then yes, these would be good for you and they're really cheap considering one Konad polish can cost upto £5/$7.88 !

If you decide to pick these up, or any other nail art supplies, you can use my discount code to get 10% off :)

RATHER LARGE HAUL

This post should have been up yesterday but technology was busy hating me which prevented me from getting this post ready for you guys !

So this haul is from the past 2 months, including my purchases from December and January !

So the bulk of my haul was China Glaze !
Anyway so I got 91 nail polishes and a huge China Glaze stand from ebay (for a really good price) , haha yeah quite a lot, and hidden in it were some amazing gems which I'll show you first  !

The best part of this lot was these babies here :

The China Glaze Kaleidoscope collection, there are 2 missing but it doesn't bother me !

So I'll just quickly show you the other polishes that were included in here (I'm not including the names here but if there's anything you need to know the name of then let me know in the comments) I will probably purge some of these though!

There were some polishes here from old collections which are super gorgeous but I'll show you them in a separate post, I also forgot to photograph a few so they're not all here!

Then I found these China Glaze Christmas polishes on sale and had to get them !

Angel Wings, Glistening Snow and Pure Joy

Then I had to get some of China Glaze Cirque Du Soliel polishes, this was a pretty impressive collection and I'd probably have got more if I could have afforded to
Whirled away, Running in Circles, It's a Trapeze

I picked up some nail art supplies from Born Pretty using a $20 gift certificate I won in a giveaway

Some studs & glequins

Holo glequins

Then my brother ordered me the Cheeky Vibrant stamping plates :)
(I will be reviewing these soon for you)

Then I got some Essie polishes from Fragrance Direct

Lights, Off the Shoulder, Bazooka

Next from the Illamasqua sale, I ordered these 3 beauties !

Load, Poke and Baptiste

Sally Magpies had a sale on her Layla hologram polishes too so I got Misty Blush and Mermaids Spell

I also got some polishes from a Blog sale
Hits- Chameleon, Catrice - Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans,  Color Club - Take Me To Your Chateau,Sally Hansen Insta-dri - Whirlwind White,  Wet n Wild Fergie - Tonight's Gonna Be Good Night , OPI - Pepe's Purple Passion

I also ordered lots of Swatch Sticks (which I've already painted)

Then I got this lovely Kiko polish from a friend

I also got this 18k gold leaf topcoat by Rococo from Ebay!

I got these pretty polishes from the pound shop !
Fairy Teal, Green Tea, Thinking of Blue

I think that's it for now !

I know it seems like a lot but in my defense they were all cheap/on sale!
