CLAIRE'S BLACK MIX GLITTER

Hi everyone, how are you all? Are you excited for christmas? So today I have another new polish I picked up from Claire's which would also make a lovely gift !
This is just called School Day I think but my bottle says Black Mix Glitter and it is a lovely black and white glitter.
I've shown this over Zoya Bevin. The formula on this one is perfect, better than the Fluffy polish from Claire's which I showed you here

So you can buy this online from the Claire's website for £3 with 25% off or you can pick it up in your nearest store. This would make a lovely christmas present for anyone really (including yourself teehee)
A black and white glitter is a must have in any polishaholics stash and this is a really good, inexpensive and easy to find choice for UK ladies :)
There are several black and white glitter polishes available in the uk now so I will be doing a comparison post very soon :)

ILLAMASQUA CREATOR

Hey guys, hows your weekend been? Now's the part of the weekend where I curl up on the sofa with a blanket and a cup of hot tea/coffee and either go on the computer or watch tv :) How do you like to end your weekend?
So today I have another forgotten mani to show you.
Below is two coats of Illamasqua Creator and then I just applied one holographic silver diamond glequin near the my cuticle!

I have some christmassy nail designs to show you soon too :)

BLUE & COPPER GLEQUINS

Hey guys, so my first semester is over, oh my gosh time goes by so quickly, I hope these next 5 years don't go by too quick, but I have a feeling they will!
Anyway I have a lot of studying to do this holiday but I'm having the rest of the week off!
So the other day I found some forgotten nails from a few months ago so I thought they'd skip the queue and I'd publish them right away.

For these nails I started off with 2 coats of Nails Inc Motcomb Street and then used some holographic copper diamond glequins for the glitter placement, I think this was my first time applying rhombus shaped glequins to my entire nail and it was trickier than it looks, hence the pretty poor placement!

PURPLE OPI TEXTURED TAPE TIPS

Hey guys, how are you all doing? The weekend goes by so quickly :(
Remember this mani here, well I decided I wanted to try it out again but with different colours so I decided to use OPI Vesper and Funky Dunkey.
I started off with two coats of Funky Dunkey and then when that was dry I used two pieces of Striping tape to make the criss cross tips and then applied Vesper and that was it. I didn't apply topcoat because I wanted the texture to show through which is a nice contrast :)

I love the contrast in texture and Vesper is so pretty at one coat because you can see the black glitter in a purple base, when you use 2 or more coats it just looks very dark and you can see tiny hints of black glitter at the edges of the nail, so I prefer to use it this way :)

OPI DEUTSCH YOU WANT ME BABY

Happy middle of the week guys! Remember I told you Wednesday was the busiest day of the week for me, well today was no exception and I'm glad it's over, next week I have an anatomy spotter exam which I am stressed about and I'm going to have to spend the next week revising and learning. Unfortunately I've nearly run out of edited nail photos and I don't have the time to edit any more before next Wednesday so this may be the last post until then! Also I'm ill and that makes me sad even though I never get ill!
I loved the Germany collection by OPI and the shimmers in there were gorgeous and I wanted them all so I was so happy to find this reduced in Sally's, I think it was £5 inc. vat.
This is a gorgeous red/orange metallic shimmer which leans more orange than red.

RAINBOW TRIBAL NAIL ART

Hey everybody, how are you enjoying your weekend ?
So do you remember the tribal nails I did here? Well I decided to try the design out again but this time in a rainbow pattern. I started off with two coats of Illamasqua Monogamous and then used various nail polishes for the pattern (if you want to know the names of any of the colours please ask me in the comments and I'll let you know ) and a small nail art brush, the lines are pretty poor here actually but my brush was being a bit funky that day which kind of spoiled it!
Unfortunately when I applied topcoat it smudged the design :( which kind of ruined it a bit !
