A PICTURE POLISH CHRISTMAS GRADIENT

Hi everyone, how are all? I've had a stressful day today but I did some Christmas nails a few days ago and I was determined to get them posted before the 25th so we'll see how that goes. (I think I've failed already, ha!)
So I bought the gorgeous Bridget by Picture Polish a while ago and then the other day the gorgeous Saira sent me Kryptonite as a present, which has been a huge lemming of mine.
Whilst I was arranging them on my shelf these 2 colours just happened to sit next to each other and I immediately knew I needed to do a Christmas gradient with them, which is what I'm showing you tonight!
I've done a red and green Christmas gradient before here but this ones is HOLOOO!

TEAL ILLAMASQUA COMPARISON GRADIENT & BLIZZARD & PAISLEY NAIL ART

Hey everyone, this week has been so busy! It's my besties wedding this weekend which means I won't have time to do any university work and next week is the deadline for my essay and oral presentation, which is why I was awake until 5am last night working! Anywho I have some more gradient nails to share with you today. I did these a while ago but I will be doing them again this weekend for the wedding as my outfit is teal and these will just look amazing!
I ordered Illamasqua Venous from their latest sale and when I got it I thought it may be a dupe for Illamasqua Muse and I thought some other poeple may have had the same thought. So when I held them next to each other I was happy to see they weren't a dupe but they were rather similar so I thought I'd do a little comparison of the two but in a gradient this time!
I used Venous closest to the cuticle and Muse at the tips. I then used Illamasqua Blizzard, which was another purchase from the same sale, on the pinky and pointed finger. On the middle two fingers I used the silver* Art Deco acrylic paint, which I've already raved about, to paint on the paisley design.

RASTA GRADIENT NAILS USING ESSENCE!

Hi guys, how was your Monday? Tonight I have a super fun and bright mani to share with you!
This reminds of the Jamaican Rasta colours and I love it! I saw a gradient with these colours on instagram and made a mental note to try out the colour combo.
I used all Essence colours for the gradient from the cuticle to the tip I used Essence 170 Beijos De Brazil, 137 Wanna Be Your Sunshine*, 145 Flashy Pumpkin, 115 Redvolution* and 114 Femme Fatal*.
I ended up with a bit of bald patched on my ring finger which is more obvious in the pictures than in real life. I still love it though and what makes a gradient even better? Black and white glitter :) So of course I added one coat of Lynnderella Connect the Dots (new version) which was a bit too dense and covered up more of the gradient than I would have liked but it's all gooood ;)

And here's a few bonus pictures of the gradient without the glitter.

MULTICHROME MERMAID NAILS USING SHE SELLS SEASHELLS NAIL VINYLS

Hi everyone, how's your week going? Today I managed to organise most of my things which I've moved from my old bedroom into my new one aand I can actually see the floor again! Tomorrow I just have some makeup bits and my nail stuff to sort out :)
When I got these gorgeous fish scale nail vinyls* from She Sells Seashells I knew I would have to do some mermaid type nails and I knew they would have to be epic which is why it took me so long to actually do them! These aren't quite epic but I love them nonetheless.
So for these I started with 2 coats of Essence 144 Black Is Back* when that was dry I just applied the nail vinyls to the nail and then I sponged on a gradient using ILNP Reminisce and Sirene before peeling off the vinyl again. It didn't turn out perfect as you can see but it looked pretty amazing, if I may say so myself!
I applied a coat of Essence Quick Dry Topcoat* which didn't smear my design and dried fast but left behind a bit of bubbling but that may be my fault, it was very hot that day!
I really loved these nails, they flashed green, blue and purple most of the time and at funny angles showed lots of other colours too :)

These vinyls are just awesome! I love the design, they're quick and easy to use, adhere to the nail well, and leave behind a crisp image. You can buy these for a very affordable £2.50 for 10 stencils here.

LACE NAILS WITH VERTICAL ILLAMASQUA GRADIENT

Hey guys, how are you all?
So I decided to do another vertical gradient and this time I used Illamasqua Stance* and Monogamous. It was super easy to do and I love the colours together. Once that had dried I used the Barry M Nail Art Pen in Black to draw on this lace design I saw on instagram.

VERTICAL GRADIENT WITH ZOYA LING & TILDA

Hey guys, so I'm still ill but today I finally managed to sit and do my nails before heading to work.
I am in love with the nails I'm showing you today, remember the vertical gradient I did, about a year ago now, here. Well I loved it but never actually got round to doing another vertical gradient, haha! So when I saw these two gorgeous Zoya polishes side by side I just knew what I had to do.
I used Zoya Tilda* and Ling* for the gradient, and I really think my gradients have improved, just goes to show practice makes perfect! I topped the whole thing off with one coat of Wet n Wild Fergie polish in Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Good Night.

These colours are made for each other and they work so so beautifully together, if you own these you must try this out!
