PICTURE POLISH KRYPTONITE & GLITTER PLACEMENT

Hey guys, how have you all been? I'm actually full of cold, I've moved out for university this year and came home for the weekend and my brothers have managed to make me ill, just in time for me to go back tomorrow to a very full week!
Anywho, for these nails I have on Picture Polish Kryptonite which was a present from my beautiful friend Saira and for that reason it's a very special polish, not to mention absolutely stunning!
I've used 2 coats on all my nails here and for the ring finger I did a glitter placement using this amazing triangle glitter I got from my other beautiful friend Sarah!
Words cannot express how much I love these nails so just look at the pictures and scroll all the way to the bottom to see some awesome macro shots! Enjoy!

ILLAMASQUA RUTHLESS SWIRLS

Hey peeps, I'm so sorry for not posting in a week but university is just so busy at the moment! But to redeem myself today I have an amazing acrylic paint review to share with you!
You can read this post to find out more about the paints I received any my overall thoughts.
Today I'm going to give you more details about the silver shade I got. I hadn't seen metallic acrylic paints around before and ended up getting some from the Pound Shop however the opacity was dreadful and so I won't be able to use it, this left me intrigued about the silver acrylic paint I received. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was blown away! This paint is amazing, opaque with just one coat and just the perfect formula which is why I can do the following design with it! This is in the shade Silver Morning  and you get this from Art Discount here for only £1.30 and let me tell you, it's worth every penny!
To do the nails I started off with 2 coats of Illamasqua Ruthless and then painted on the swirly design which I think I saw on Nail Lacquer UK instagram. To tie the design in with the rest of nails I used China Glaze Fairy Dust on the rest of the nails.

LIGHTNING NAILS

Hey guys, happy Wednesday!
So I actually did these nails on my nubs but they never made it to the blog because I just didn't think they looked right! But I loved the design so recreated them on my longer nails!
To do these nails I did a black and dark blue gradient on all the nails using Angelica nails in Black* (I can't remember the name, sorry) and Nails Inc Motcomb Street at the tips. I then added one coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust on all the nails to make the nails look like the night sky. For the feature nail I used a sponge and painted pink (Playboy Hot Violet*) in the middle and a circle of purple (OPI Funky Dunkey) around it, so kind of like a circular gradient, and sponged this onto the nail. and just to finish it off I added a silver lightning nail vinyl from She Sells Seashells which you can get here

OPI BLUE CHIPS AKA THE MYSTERY POLISH

Hi everyone, so todays post features a polish which left me scratching my head!
So a while ago I came across the sale section on nailpolish.co.uk where they had some OPI's for £2.99 which I was really excited about, when I then went on to choose which ones I wanted I ended up confused because I hadn't heard of any of these colours before! I then went and did some digging around stumbled across this very useful and informative post here
I initially thought they were fakes but basically they're old shades by OPI which they've just repackaged, and they aren't cropping up in normal stores at normal prices, these are actually just showing up in discount places for a very reduced price!
These aren't available at nailpolish.co.uk at the moment but I think you can get them from Fragrance Direct,  Amazon or Ebay and T J Maxx in the US and other discount shops!

Ok, so the polish I have to show you today is OPI Blue Chips which is actually repackaged The Flowers Are Blue-Ming from Ultas 'Too Haute To Handle' limited edition collection from 2012.
This is a gorgeous blue filled with holographic silver glitter, this is actually textured which probably now wasn't the look they were going for in 2012 but now texture is 'in' this looks rather trendy!
You guys know though I don't like texture so I have to add topcoat and whilst it did smooth out the polish it still looked textured which I wasn't keen on but it's still pretty!

ILLAMASQUA MERMAID NAILS

Hi guys, I have a super quick post for you today.
I decided to use 3 of my Illamasqua polishes for this lovely gradient, I used Nomad, Jo'mina and Noble. On the accent nail I sponged the gradient over the fish scale nail vinyls from She Sells Seashells.
This was also the point at which I realised I didn't own China Glaze Fairy Dust and I did in fact need it. I ordered it the next day (and still haven't used it, haha!). To make do I used OPI Snowflakes In The Air.

SEPHORA FORMULA X LIGHTNING

Hey guys, how's your weekend going? I'm tired! I started a second job this week and so I haven't had a lot of free time. I also have some uni work to do and that takes up the rest of my time! Tomorrow though I am going to the Essence Blogger Event which I'm really excited for, and it'll be nice to have a break!
Ok so today I have the final Sephora Formula X polish I got, this is Lightning. It's another gorgeous one and just screams St Patrick's day! I used 1 thin and 1 thick coat for these nails.

Ok, I don't know when I'll get a chance to post but bear with me I have lots of exciting manis to share with you!

SEPHORA X OUTBURST

Hey peeps, how are you all? Today I have another gorgeous Sephora Superwatts polish to show you!
This was initially the one I had my eye one and then I discovered the whole range. This is 2 coats I think (my memory is so bad!) Anyway to this polish I decided to add a cute gold shell which I got from She Sells Seashells and it was just the cherry on the top. I think I wore this for 4 days which is a record for me, seriously I only wear a polish for a maximum of 2 and a half days, if I wear it for longer I feel guilty and have to wear one of my untrieds, polish addict problems? right?!

So beautiful right?
