CBL SEEING SPOTS WITH MY FAVOURITE GRADIENT !

Hi guys, today I have some of my favourite type of nails, a gradient with black and white glitter!
I don't think I have ever done a purple and red gradient before and God only knows why becuase it's one of my favourite colour combinations.
For these nails then I use OPI The Thrill of Brazil, Illamasqua Grab and OPI Funky Dunkey. I then topped the gradient with Seeing Spots by Colors By Llarowe. This is one of my new favourite white and black glitter toppers, I love it!!

SUNRISE GRADIENT NAILS

Hey guys, today I have a nice easy gradient to share with you guys. This colour gradient has been on my to do list for ages and when I had the Essence colours lined up on my desk it was the perfect opportunity.
I used, from the cuticle upwards, Essence Wanna Be My Sunshine, Flashy Pumpkin, Redvolution and Femme Fatale.  I then topped it all off with one coat of Dance Legend Argus, I wiped most of it off the brush because it's quite dense.

RASTA GRADIENT NAILS USING ESSENCE!

Hi guys, how was your Monday? Tonight I have a super fun and bright mani to share with you!
This reminds of the Jamaican Rasta colours and I love it! I saw a gradient with these colours on instagram and made a mental note to try out the colour combo.
I used all Essence colours for the gradient from the cuticle to the tip I used Essence 170 Beijos De Brazil, 137 Wanna Be Your Sunshine*, 145 Flashy Pumpkin, 115 Redvolution* and 114 Femme Fatal*.
I ended up with a bit of bald patched on my ring finger which is more obvious in the pictures than in real life. I still love it though and what makes a gradient even better? Black and white glitter :) So of course I added one coat of Lynnderella Connect the Dots (new version) which was a bit too dense and covered up more of the gradient than I would have liked but it's all gooood ;)

And here's a few bonus pictures of the gradient without the glitter.

W7 PISTACHIO LACE NAILS

Happy Sunday! Well, here in England we've had a bit of a storm so it's been a gloomy day but we had a lovely dinner again today and I'm happy to be ending the day with a cup of tea, Only Fools and Horses and blogging :)
So today I have a very pretty nail polish to share with you and some very pretty nail art too. I 've been obsessed with lace nails but always have to freehand them because I don't any stamping plates with a lace design. For these nails I started with 2 coats of W7 Pistachio* which is part of the Summer Sorbet collection from W7. I'm a big fan of W7, their black and white is a staple in my collection and I love their Galaxy collection but I haven't tried out any of their cremes in a while. This is a lovely minty colour which isn't very unique but still gorgeous and I expected the formula to be nice but the formula was just a bit off with this, it's nothing major though. I did get some bubbling though which was probably my fault because it was super hot in my room when I swatched this.
I then did a glitter gradient with Dance Legend Argus and drew on this lacey design which I copied from Creatinails on instagram.

BARRY M GELLY GRADIENT NAILS & ESSENCE 101 DALMATIONS

Hey guys, I have a really quick post for you today. A few months ago I felt like I was missing something so I went and purchased 90% of the Barry M Gelly collection. You'll be seeing these a lot now in the next couple of posts.
One of the first designs I did was a gradient using Key Lime and Guava. How gorgeous are these 2 colours together?
I decided to add one coat of Essence Effects in 101 Dalmations* over the top.

Yes, I love it, these 2 colours work amazing together and the Gellys are perfect for gradients, the colours blend together flawlessly.

UK BLACK AND WHITE GLITTER COMPARISON

Hi guys, I've managed to find myself with 10 spare minutes tonight so I thought I'd do a little post for you :)
As you may have seen the oh so famous black and white glitters are now popping up in UK stores which prompted me to do a little comparison for you.

My middle finger I've used one coat of Ninja Polish Sticks n' Stones as a reference ($9.00 from Ninja Polish, currently out of stock)
My Index finger I've used one coat of Boots Seventeen Off The Wall Graffiti nail effects (£3.99 from Boots)
My ring finger I've used one coat of Claire's Black Mix glitter (£3.00 from Claire's)
My pinky finger I've used one coat of Maybelline Polka Dots Chalk Dust (no longer available in store but you can get it from eBay, price varies)

My base colour is Angelica nails Pillar Box Red*

I'm not going to describe them with words, just scroll down and look at the macro pictures because they'll do a better job than I will!

My least favourite is the Seventeen one from Boots mainly because it's a bit clumpy and there's a bit too much going on! I love them all though and if you don't own any black and white glitters then go and get some because they're awesome.
If you have any black and white glitters you've seen on the UK market that you would like to include here please leave a comment below or tweet me or email etc etc.

*These products were sent to me for my honest review. See my disclosure policy for more details

ILLAMASQUA RADIUM & POKE WITH CLAIRE'S BLACK MIX GLITTER

Hi guys, I'm really tired and I have to be up early tomorrow for uni so today I have some simple nails to show you.
For these I've used Illamasqua Radium on all the fingers except the accent nail where I applied Illamasqua Poke and then to tie all the nails together I applied one coat of Claire's Black Mix Glitter and a simple, cool mani :)

I expected some awesome nail mail on Saturday which never showed up and it'll probably turn up tomorrow when I won't have time to swatch them all week. Anywho enjoy your week and I'll see you guys soon :)

CLAIRE'S BLACK MIX GLITTER

Hi everyone, how are you all? Are you excited for christmas? So today I have another new polish I picked up from Claire's which would also make a lovely gift !
This is just called School Day I think but my bottle says Black Mix Glitter and it is a lovely black and white glitter.
I've shown this over Zoya Bevin. The formula on this one is perfect, better than the Fluffy polish from Claire's which I showed you here

So you can buy this online from the Claire's website for £3 with 25% off or you can pick it up in your nearest store. This would make a lovely christmas present for anyone really (including yourself teehee)
A black and white glitter is a must have in any polishaholics stash and this is a really good, inexpensive and easy to find choice for UK ladies :)
There are several black and white glitter polishes available in the uk now so I will be doing a comparison post very soon :)

BUTTER LONDON CAKE HOLE & GLITZOLOGY CRUELLA

Hi guys, ok so I've changed my blog design! I've been meaning to update my blog design and layout for some time but I've put it off for so long mainly because I'm not the best with blog layout and html and that sort of stuff and secondly because I had no idea what to do with the design!
Today though I had a light bulb moment and thought I'll just try it out, so I created the header and messed about with page widths and backgrounds and tab colours etc. and this is what I ended up with! I think I like it but I still have some fiddling to do!

Anywho so today I have a simple layering notd to show you. I started off with two coats of Butter London Cake Hole and then applied one coat of Glitzology Cruella which I got in a blog sale.

I love black and white glitter :) do you?
