HOW TO CREATE A STAMPING DECAL

Hey guys, how are you all? I'm sorry it's been nearly a week since I last posted but this week has been busy! We've had my adopted granddad staying with us and my little cousin. I've also been looking for jobs for this summer and I also spent a day 'deep cleaning' my bedroom after exams lol!
Anyway enough about me, let's talk nails. I know nearly everyone has done a tutorial for a stamping decal but I made this a while ago and it seemed like a shame to not post it. So for these nails I went for a multichrome peacock design, which I will show you how to recreate below, just click the 'read more' button.

ILNP UNDENIED & GOLD STAMPING

Hey guys, so it's been a busy few days, I had a mammoth exam yesterday (which I'm so glad is over and fingers crossed I've passed) my auntie had a baby girl in the early hours of today, and today is also my 21st birthday! For my birthday nails I'm just wearing ILNP Sirene. I haven't received any nail polish for presents but I got a gorgeous Michael Kors watch from my parents and other bits and bobs :) I also decided to treat myself to 2 of the new Ultra Chromes from the ILNP Summer collection.
Ok, so for these nails I started with 2 coats of ILNP Undenied and then I used Barry M Gold Foil and stamped on an image from the BM- 313 plate. I think this is my first stamping mani for about a year and a half! Blimey!

Like all the other Ultra Chromes by ILNP this is a stunner and I love the gold detailing with it!
Ok, I'll see you guys in my next post, enjoy your weekend :)

ILNP REMINISCE MERMAID SCALE NAILS

Hi guys, I hope you've all had a lovely weekend :) I am obsessed with the Ultra Chromes from ILNP, and to think I didn't like multichromes before :o
So for these nails I used ILNP Reminisce as a base colour, I thought this would be my least favourite of the 3 from the Spring collection but I actually love this! I then used Barry M Gold Foil to paint on the mermaid scales. It's not turned out perfect but I really, really like them!

Have a great week guys and I'll see you all soon :)

MERMAID NAILS

Hey guys, how are you all? So today I have a mani I did a while ago and this is probably one of my most favourite nails of ALL TIME!
I sat and stared at my new set of holographic glequins and these colours just stood out at me and I knew I had to use them all together. I used the green, light blue and dark blue glequins and did alternating stripes of them on all the fingers except the accent nail where I applied two coats of Zoya Bevin and sponged on several different green polishes and then I used Barry M Gold Foil to paint on mermaid scales.

I love this so so much, I know I've done mermaid nails before but these are honestly the most mermaid-ey and imo they look awesome!

MERMAID NAILS

This was such an amazing idea in my head and it turned into a hot mess !
I got some iridescent glequins and thought they'd look really beautiful in a mermaid themed nail art.
So you want to know how I created this mess? Well, I started with 2 coats of Kiko 341 then sponged on some Essence Choose Me, then I applied all these iridescent glequins in no perfect order, when that was dry I used Barry M Gold Foil and tried to draw on some gold scales but the surface was uneven and the lines too thick which resulted in a big mess, so I stopped after two fingers and after about 30 pictures this was the only which I could consider showing you guys!

It took me ages to do these nails and it ended in disappointment unfortunately, but hey ho, win some, lose some!

ZOYA VERUSCHKA & ROCOCO GOLD LEAF

Hi guys, I hope you enjoyed your weekend, mine has been lovely and relaxing :)
Anywho so here's another mani from the vault, I saw this combination over at (I can't remember, I'll check tomorrow and update it) and I fell in love with it instantly so had to recreate it !
So this is 2 coats of Zoya Veruschka and 1 coat of Rococo Gold Leaf, all topped off with one coat of NYC Turbo Dry.

Ahh, so beautiful :) Love, love, love this combo! What's your favourite combination with the gold leaf topcoats?

INDIAN INSPIRED NAILS

A while ago I was browsing on Flickr and came across this gorgeous mani which I just had to try out
So yeah, I got to try this out the other day!
For this mani I started out with 1 coat of Essie Lights and the using Essie Bazooka and a makeup sponge I created the pink & orange gradient. Once that was dry I stamped over it using the Paisley pattern from the BM-315 using Barry M Gold Foil.
The overall effect reminded me of typical Indian/Pakistani prints and I'm so pleased with how it turned out !
I have cuticle oil on in these pictures because they were in a dreadful state so if my fingers are looking extra shiny then that's why!

CHINA GLAZE SEDUCE ME & GLEQUINS

HI guys, I'm taking a night off studying today as I'm not felling well and I'm tired ! So I'm just tucked up on the sofa with my snuggle blanket and a hot cup of tea, watching TV and editing photo's !

So these mani's I did at the end of last year but didn't get round to showing you!
I recently got nearly 100 China Glaze polishes off of ebay ( I will show you all in a haul post soon) and there were some gorgeous treasures in there ! On of them was this gorgeous, gorgeous plumy/maroon/raspberry jelly which I hadn't come across before. I introduce to you Seduce Me which I think is the perfect name for this colour !

So for this mani I painted 2 coats of Seduce Me and then on all the fingers I used  Barry M Gold Foil to stamp this funky design (which reminds me of racing flags) from the CH5 plate in the Cheeky vibrant stamping collection (more on that in another post).

Then the accent nail I added holographic gold glequins in the honeycomb style, this was my first time with glitter placement and I think it went ok, I had to move some of the glitter around on the nail which messed with the base colour a bit but otherwise it was ok !

I wasn't crazy for the overall look, not sure why but I think it was because the gold in the stamping and the glequins were too different !
What do you guys think of the mani overall?

Also, anybody know when this came out and which collection it was from? Thankyou :)
