ILLAMASQUA RADIUM & POKE WITH CLAIRE'S BLACK MIX GLITTER

Hi guys, I'm really tired and I have to be up early tomorrow for uni so today I have some simple nails to show you.
For these I've used Illamasqua Radium on all the fingers except the accent nail where I applied Illamasqua Poke and then to tie all the nails together I applied one coat of Claire's Black Mix Glitter and a simple, cool mani :)

I expected some awesome nail mail on Saturday which never showed up and it'll probably turn up tomorrow when I won't have time to swatch them all week. Anywho enjoy your week and I'll see you guys soon :)

BARRY M GELLY GRAPEFRUIT & HOLO GLEQUIN ACCENT

Hey guys, are you having a lovely Easter weekend? I've acquired lots of new nail polish in the past 2 days, I have loads of nail polishes my parents bought me from Spain and loads of new Barry M Gellys (check my instagram to see what I got). I have so much to play with but no time because I have so much revision to do :(
Anyway I have a very simple mani for you today, very easy to do but I LOVE it ! I didn't want to take it off!
I applied 2 coats of Barry M Gelly in Grapefruit (which isn't as hot pink as my pictures show)  I then used silver holographic glequins to completely glequify the accent nail.

Ah, love this so so much! It's really easy to do and I think it looks so cute :)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll see you in my next post, stay fabulous guys !

GLITZ & GLAMOUR WITH MORE CHRISTMAS GLEQUINS

Hey guys, hows your weekend going? I have loads of work to do and I finally started today but still have so much to do! Anway here are some more Christmassy nails for you guys.
I started off with a base colour of Orly Glitz and Glamour, which is just the perfect gold nail polish ever, I then used red and green rhombus glequins to make cubes on all the nails except the accent nail which I did a full glitter placement using alternating red and green glequins.

This is a very 'blingy' design and quite eye catching which might not be for everyone but I quite like it, is this something you'd wear?

MISS SPORTY PINK DUOCHROME & ZOYA CHLOE ACCENT NAIL

Hi guys, I hope you all had a lovely weekend, today I've got a simple mani that I wore recently to show you.
I started off with one coat f w7 Black and then applied one coat of Miss Sporty Lasting Colour polish in the shade 111. I got this several years ago from a car boot? Anywho I never used it because it looked like a frosty pink in the bottle and this was before I was aware of duochromes and how they come to life over black, this flashed green and pink which a bit of copper. On the accent nail I applied 1 (and a half) coats of Zoya Chloe.

So that's all for now folks, take care and see you in the next post :)

MINTY GLEQUIN GRADIENT

Hi all my beautiful friends, how are you all?
So today I have another springy mani for you which is actually a big fat fail ! The glequins were supposed to look like a gradient fading from silver into pink, it didn't really work ! It still kinda looks pretty from a distance, so erm please don't ask me why I included a big macro shot of the glequined nail !

I started off with 2 coats of a minty green Color Club I got in a set from TK Maxx (I don't know the name if you guys have an idea please let me know in the comments) then just applied the silver and pale pink glequins and topped it all with a nice thick coat of  NYC Turbo Dry Topcoat !

Gosh, I've applied these rather sloppily !

So there you go, looking at these pictures is just making me wish spring would hurry up and make an appearance !
Take care guys, see you in my next post!

BAPTISTE WITH SOME NAIL ARMOUR

I feel like I'm coming down with the flu, I really hope it'll pass tonight and I'll be alright in the morning !
Anyways, I hope you guys are enjoying your weekend, I've just been painting swatch sticks and making displays today but I'm going to be see my bestie tomorrow, I haven't seen her in months ! What are you guys up to?
Ok  so for these nails I was inspired by Sarah's mani! I don't have any round studs (yet ;P) so I used my square ones, I applied the studs just like you do with glequins, I cut some of the studs in half with regular scissors to fill in the gaps at the edges ! I didn't use a base colour with the accent nail and the studs don't line up exactly with the edge of the nail but oh well !
This looks pretty hardcore to be honest ;P I'm not a fan of textured nails at all but these felt so cool, I spent the whole day running my finger over the nail and stroking my cheek ! Lol

So what do you think? Would you wear something like this ?

TEAL KIKO & HOLOGRAPHIC GLEQUINS

I told you guys I had a glequin obsession well this mani is only the beginning! This is my first time using the holographic glequins in the big pot, I found these glitter pieces to be smaller than the ones in this set so each nail takes a little bit longer to do, but I only did the accent nail so it didn't really make much difference to me!

So for these nails I painted on 2 coats of Kiko 341 which is a lovely teal colour with a perfect formula (I love love love Kiko nail polishes and need a lot more, their cremes are the best) I then applied the glequins in a honeycomb pattern on my accent nail !

Ok, so that's it and I'll see you guys again soon, enjoy your weekend !

LITTLE DRUMMER BOY STAMPING

Hi guys, how's your weekend been? I have spent the weekend painting my nails and editing photos :D
So here are some nails I did before my exams, very easy stamping!
For this I used China Glaze Little Drummer Boy and Barry M Silver Foil (both are great for stamping) and Cheeky plate CH-13
On all the nails except the accent nail I used Little Drummer Boy as a base and stamped over it with Silver Foil. On the accent nail I just reversed the colours ! Unfortunately when I topcoated this it smudged.

Ok, so that was super quick and I will be back soon with some Valentine's looks for you.
 Take care guys :)

BLACK & SILVER STUDS & GLEQUINS

Hey guys, I'm back : ) How are you all ?
It's been a while! Anyway my exams are now finished and I'm free aaand I have a lot of exciting things coming up soon so keep an eye out for those : ) It's so good to be back blogging I've really missed it !
So my nails have been naked all month and so the nails I show you over the next few posts were all done in December.
Also I'm going to Istanbul in February so any lovely Turkish people who can recommend nail polish from there and where to get them, please leave me a comment or email me : )

I was going to show you this mani before I left but I just couldn't squeeze it in !
So when I got my glequins and studs I couldn't wait to use them and so I rustled up this mani, also at this point I just could not get enough of glossy black nails (which is really unusual for me because I never wear plain black on my nails!)

So really quickly, on my pointy finger I placed silver glequins in rows (which look so crooked now haha) and then on the rest of the nails I applied a gold stud (they look silver here though!). To finish I topcoated everything with one coat of NYC Turbo dry (which I will be reviewing shortly because it is uh-mazing)

This was insanely glossy and I totally loved it !

ANTIQUE GOLD SARAN WRAP MANI

So I wasn't really a big fan of the saran/cling film wrap but I saw it done with gold somewhere and it looked so delicate and gorgeous I had to try it and I couldn't decide if I should do it over purple or gold so I did an accent mani, the purple is OPI a grape fit and the green is from the back to the boho collection
Then I used Barry M Gold foil, it looked better irl than in the photos, it looked so delicate and antiquey and pretty ; )

Are you a fan of the saran/cling film wrap mani? What's your favourite colour combinations ?
