ILLAMASQUA JO'MINA & TURQUOISE GLEQUINS

Hey guys, so yesterday I was featured in Illamasquas Beauty Spotlight! You can see the post here. You guys know how much I love Illamasqua so this was a huge honour :)
Anyway on to the nails, for these nails I used Illamasqua Jo'mina on all the nails except the accent nail on which I used Illamasqua Muse. I then used these 3mm turquoise glequins* which I got from DesignsbyV to do a full glitter placement on my accent nail and I placed a single piece near the cuticle. Because these glitter pieces are on the large side you do need several layers of top coat to stop it catching on everything.

Ok, so that's it for todays post I will see you tomorrow :)

ASYMMETRICAL TIPS

Hi guys, hope your all doing well, I don't really have much time to talk today we are heading out for dinner soon but I'm posting this now because our internet isn't working properly and randomly stops working for as long as it wants !
Anyway onto nail business, this was just a random, see how it turns out kind of mani, I started off with 2 coats of Essence  Got a secret (which is my favourite grey creme !) Then I used striping tape and painted on the green bits with Essence Lime up (which is another of my favourite creme's) and then I used Barry M turquoise to paint on the other blue tips, I was impatient with this mani which is why it's not looking so good but that's it really, simple and cute  : )

I'm not going to enlarge these pics guys because up close my cuticles look soo dry, it's just awful & distracting !

BLUE GRADIENT FRAMED/ BORDER NAILS

Hi guys, how are you all? I'm so happy you all liked my previous post and I'm glad it brought a smile to your faces : )
Anyway on to todays nails, I decided to combine 2 of the most recent infectious nail trends : frames and gradients !

It didn't work out exactly how I wanted it to, I think the shift between colours isn't subtle enough but I didn't want to do loads of frames because this mani took about an hour to do and I only did these fingers ! lol !
Anyway I started with 2 coats of models own baby blue as a base coat and then I used no7 poolside blue and a tiny brush to paint on the first border, then I used an acrylic paint for the next border and then finally I used Barry M Pure turquoise for the final border and voila !

My Seche Vite has got really thick now and it made loads of tiny bubbles on my nails, which tbh weren't noticable irl.

Do you guys like it? Anyways I'll talk to you all soon guys, toodles : )

SLURRPPPP, YUMMY ICE CREAM

this is a scheduled post

well ladies i should be back soon and everything should be back to normal again, well this is the mani i wore with me to the seaside, well because its kind of appropriate loll,
i used barry m mint green and barry m pure turquoise for the accent finger and acrylic paints for the rest of it, (  i find them so much easier to work with now compared to polish loll)
this was inspired by the illustrated nail, their designs are stunning and sooo perfect, but anyway here it is

it's not perfect, by the time i got to the top of the ice cream i'd ran out of space loll, so it's a funny shape : o
oh gosh i've just realised i forgot to colour my flake in !

okies lovelies i shall hopefully be back soon and be able to reply to all your comments : )
toodles xx
