BUTTER LONDON - JACK THE LAD

Hey guys, I've spent most of the day cooking and now the pie is in the oven and I'm just watching Freaky Friday lol! I love Sunday evenings, I just like to sit curled up with a blanket and watch a film with a nice hot cup of tea/plate of food!
So today I have Jack The Lad by Butter London to show you, this is a really gorgeous nail polish which I picked up from T K Maxx for £5.99.
It's so beautiful and you only need two coats for full coverage. It's such a complex and beautiful colour! If you don't already own this you need to go out and buy it now!

ORANGES FAIL !

Hi guys, hope your all good :)
I've been super busy this week so I haven't really had time to type up a blog post! So wow, I was rather overwhelmed with the response to my last post, I'm so glad you guys liked it :)
Anyway so this was a big fail, I was sat staring at my nail polishes (as you do) and saw Butter London Silly Billy and it just made me think ORANGES!! so I thought I'd paint them on my nails and it turned out terrible!
I started off with two coats of Essence Got A Secret and then used a dotting tool and made dots with Silly Billy and used black acrylic paint and my nail art brush to draw on the rest of the details.
Yeah, so they don't look like oranges.

ILNP ULTRA CHROME BRUSH STROKE - OIL SPILL NAILS

*VERY PIC HEAVY*

Hi guys, hope you had a lovely weekend, I've had a tonne of work to do!
So on Tuesday I had a lovely package waiting for me when I got home from uni and in it were the 3 Ultra Chrome polishes I ordered from ILNP! I don't normally buy expensive nail polish but these were too beautiful to miss and I haven't bought nail polish is like over 3 months :o !
So I've been wearing each one for a day or two and I love them all soo much I will be showing you them all soon! So I knew I wanted to use them all together but wasn't sure how and ended up doing a brush stroke mani!
I started off with 1 coat of Angelica black ( I can't remember the name!) Then I just did small brush strokes with Birefringence, Cygnus Loop and Mutagen. Cygnus Loop and Birefringence were quite similar so I used more of Mutagen to break it up.
This looked amazing in all lighting but when I tried to get some underwater shots, Holy Moly, I was blown away. This honestly looks like an oil spill underwater and it shows so many gorgeous colours.
There are a bazillion photos so I'll shut up now and you can click on to see the photos!

BUTTER LONDON CAKE HOLE & GLITZOLOGY CRUELLA

Hi guys, ok so I've changed my blog design! I've been meaning to update my blog design and layout for some time but I've put it off for so long mainly because I'm not the best with blog layout and html and that sort of stuff and secondly because I had no idea what to do with the design!
Today though I had a light bulb moment and thought I'll just try it out, so I created the header and messed about with page widths and backgrounds and tab colours etc. and this is what I ended up with! I think I like it but I still have some fiddling to do!

Anywho so today I have a simple layering notd to show you. I started off with two coats of Butter London Cake Hole and then applied one coat of Glitzology Cruella which I got in a blog sale.

I love black and white glitter :) do you?

SPA RITUAL CIRCLE OF LIFE & ESSENCE GLISTEN UP

Hey folks, so I have a really long weekend this week, starting today hehe!
So today I have a simple layering combo I wore a while ago. It started off with 2 coats of the lovely Spa Ritual Circle of Life and then I topped it off with one coat of Essence Glisten Up, which is totally gorgeous and unfortunately discontinued, I do have a spare one though if anyone is looking for one! Glisten Up has gorgeous green/blue shimmer, silver glitter and gorgeous small blue/green flakies. I topped everything off with one coat of NYC Turbo Dry topcoat.

This was super gorgeous and I loved it so much!

*Some of the products in this post were sent to me for my review. See my disclosure policy for more details

W7 METALLIC NEPTUNE

Hi all my friends, today I have a nice nail polish which turned out to be a big disappointment. I saw this in the poundshop and it had a gorgeous duochrome to it and it looked so awesome in the bottle and it was only £1 so I bought it but when I tried it it fell flat like I couldn't see any duochrome at all and it was just a nice black nail polish with green flecks in it!

So that's all for this post, hopefully I'll see you tomorrow :)

PUMPKIN HALF MOONS FOR HALLOWEEN!

Hey guys, hope you had a good weekend :) So I wasn't going to do any Halloween nail art this year but then the other day I saw this cute tutorial by One Nail To Rule Them All so decided to try it out for myself but instead of doing these at the tips of the nails I did them as half moons.
I used two coats of Gosh High School Flirt and then used Essence Flashy Pumpkin to paint on the orange half moons and then I used Butter London Silly Billy to draw on the lighter orange lines on the pumpkin which are kinda hard to see! I then used green and brown acrylic paint for the rest of the details. I applied one coat of Essence Better Than Gel Topcoat which smudged the design :(

Ok, so that's all, I think it's more cute than scary lol! Have you tried out Pumpkin nail art?
