SNOW GLOBE !!!

when i got snow globe i had no idea what to layer it over, i didn't want to layer it over black as it would loose it's delicateness and prettiness, so i decided to use it in a snow globe! (if that makes sense )

anyway yes, i drew snowglobes (or attempted to ) 

i used a base colour of 2 very thin coats of catherine arley then i dotted little snowmen on each nail and then drew a thin wiggly white tip so it looks like snow on the ground, then i drew in little trees and then i painted on coat of snow globe over the top, and at this point it looked really cute and pretty and then i thought i'd be clever and draw an outline in black so it looked like a dome and it kind of ruined it, imo. it looks likes there's too much going on, what do you think ? 

it looks soo pretty here and soo delicate, the one thing i don't like about this polish is when it flashes too much yellow it looks really old or reminds me of stained nails ! 

also one more thing i would like to ask you all is would you like to see some tutorials? and if you do can you give me an idea of which designs you want to see a tutorial for and then i'll set up a poll and we'll take it from there : )

NAIL MAIL !!!

Yep, today i have small haul post for you, just to show you what i've acquired over the past few weeks, (a few other things i bought for swaps i haven't included in here)

(I'm not feeling well atm. and there's nothing better to cheer you up  than nail mail : )

A while ago i contacted Natalie from heartnat after drooling over many of her awesome nail polish heaven hauls  (if you haven't seen them, definitely go over and check them out !) and she kindly picked up some big lemmings for me : )

LA FEMME - ICE BLUE CREAM

This is going to be a really short post as i don't have much time 

i saw this polish on Nihrida's blog a while ago and got it about a month ago and haven't posted swatches 

so here you are 

i loved the colour but i hated the brush, it was really stiff and caused the polish to be streaky on the 2nd coat : ( but i think the colour is worth it : )

OPAL NAILS

I am super tired so i'm keeping this real short, after seeing this post from Scrangie, i fell in love with her opaly mani, where she put shine of the times over a white shimmer, and decided i had to try it myself : ) 
since my shine of the times is on it's way to me, i used nubar 2010 and instead of a white shimmer i used 3 coats of jessica so la, which is a sheer white polish with tiny tiny bits of shimmer. 

these pictures really don't do this mani justice, and scrangie's was so beautiful : ) i have discovered i need a white shimmer polish! loll i'm waiting for my shine of the times to come and i'm definitely doing this mani again : )

IT'S OFFICIAL ...

... I am an addict. 


Oh my goodness, yes it's true, some may say i was an addict before but i am now a diehard addict!, i shocked myself the other day by nearly spending £70 on nail polish in one day a while ago, this addiction has reached a whole new level, and after completing 2 swaps i'm currently doing, I AM NOT BUYING ANY MORE NAIL POLISH , no matter how pretty or cheap they are
It'll be hard but it has to be done! I have far too many untrieds (actually i have to admit i am getting through them now, slowwllyy lol) and i'm accumulating too many dupes ! I know this shouldn't be upsetting me or anything but I honestly can't help but feel slightly upset ! I probably sound like a bit of an idiot now ! loll


anyway on to the nails ! 


this was a mani i did last weekend when there was a bit of sun! 
i couldn't decide what to wear so i decided to combine 3 polishes into this mani  base colour is the gorgeous catherine arley 677 sponged with catherine arley 676, and gosh holographic on the ring and thumb !

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i really loved this mani, but the only thing i was a big disappointed with was the catherine arley has a weaker holo than the gosh and even though it's there, compared to the gosh holo you can barely see it (if you know what i mean, i don't know if that makes sense, my brain is fried today loll) 

Another thing i wanted to ask you all is what do you think about the new picture size, do you like the pictures this big or where they better before, i personally like this size but let me know if you want me to keep this size or go back to the old size, take care lovelies

MERMAID TAIL

this mani is beautiful, so easy to do but i can't tell you how much i love this
this is basically one coat of a black creme (rimmel black cab, i think) topped off with one coat of inglot 203

please excuse the cardi, it's freeeezzzing here !

i know it's blurry but it shows the gorgeous green colour 

  

this is such a beautiful flakie, i've wanted this for such a long time and it is stunning, the polish isn't thick nor runny and the flakies are incredibly dense,which is a good thing because it means my tiny bottle won't finish so quick ! it's mainly green but constantly flashes blue even the guys noticed it so it must be good loll

VERY RARE PINK NAILS !

Soo much work to do, unbelievable ! i'm going to have to have a break from blogging soon when it get closer to my exams ! : ( 


anyway yesterday's nails, pink polishes are the most dominant in my collection, but i haven't worn a pink in months, and even then that was only for 2 hours! i hate pink polish on me ( Ivana if you're reading this, i have to say sorry loll) i don't know why, i just do and haven't bought any for a long time, but when i saw this i decided to give it a chance (take a chance on meeee, loll sorry that abba song pops into my head) 

2 coats, one very thin one and a slightly more generous 2nd coat and no top coat loook how glossy it is ! 

whilst watching some programme i was reminded of the combo of pink and leopard print and added this crappy leopard pink bow ! 

well, i must say i was pleasantly surprised with this, in fact i grew to like it and when it came to taking it off, i was almost sad ! loll, i do like this shade and will wear it again,

what's your opinion on pink polishes?
