SUBTLE PAISLEY STAMPING FAIL !

I did say that not all of my stamping mani's were successful and this mani supports that statement. This turned out to be rather disappointing : (
I started off with 1 coat of Catricee Heavy Metallic (which I will always say I love every time I show you it) and then I used Orly Pure Porcelain for stamping because I don't have a decent white for stamping, (any recommendations would be much appreciated). So yeah, the polish didn't transfer properly and it was really quite faint too

So yeah, our internet is being daft which is why my posts is a bit sporadic, but I shall try and post yet more mani's for you tomorrow, take care til then guys : )

RED ROSE STAMPING

So you may remember I mentioned a while ago I'd bought the new bundle monster plates, well I accidently ordered the 2011 ones so when I got them I was really annoyed until I saw it was my own mistake; anyway so the same day I ordered the 2012 ones hoping they'd come in time for me to take on holiday and they didn't. My first order took a week to get here and then the 2nd order took nearly 2 weeks so when I got back they still weren't here !
Anywho I finally got them and couldn't wait to start using them so this is the first mani with the 2012 plates and I am rather pleased with my stamping here (I'm sure you guys remember some of the previous failures I shared with you!)
So for this I did 2 coats of Ciate Mistress (which I didn't buy, I got it free a really long time ago, just saying because I refuse to buy anything from Ciate) which is a nice red jelly/creme because my nails were nubs you couldn't really see any vnl. Then I used Barry M Silver Foil to stamp on the gorgeous roses from the BM-323 plate !

Yes I know all the images don't line up and aren't in the same position but whatever I like it ; )
I have some more stamping mani's to share with you, expect to see many more, hehe, anyway's thankyou for reading guys and have a lovely weekend :D

NO H8 IN THE POLISH COMMUNITY!

I despise bullying, I really do. It was really upsetting to see bullying in our nail polish community.
I don't really have time to do a new purple mani (I only found out about this when I got home from work about 30 mins ago!) but I want to show my support so here is Catrice Heavy Metallic again because it's one of the most beautiful purple polishes ever !

Bullying is not funny. It is not cool. It is not right. And more importantly, it is not okay.
Most of us are, thankfully, residents of countries that support tolerance and many of our families have settled in these places simply for that reason. Generations later, it is our responsibility to perpetuate that message of tolerance across our new social platforms, including the internet.

As members of the nail polish blogging community, we all share a love of beauty, color, and lacquer. Other than that, we are remarkably different: from our race to our religion to our hair color...even to our polish application techniques. To marginalize anyone because of those differences is completely unacceptable and today I take a stand against that. I refuse to allow other people's view of "normal" dictate how I behave, believe, and blog.

In solidarity with a multitude of bloggers linked below, my purple manicure represents my proud commitment to the No H8 movement. Today, November 8, I dedicate my post to ending bullying of any kind and to encouraging diversity and imperfection among our colorful community.

MODELS OWN - ALL 5 MIRRORBALLS LAYERED

I'm really sorry guys that I haven't posted in a while, my laptop broke last week and so I've given it to a friend to fix but I have no idea when I'll get it back, so in the meantime I'm using my brother's little netbook which I don't really like and it also means I can't edit my photo's. Anywho today I spent nearly 3 hours editing photo's, I'm still not chuffed with them but it's the best I can do with what I have !
Anyway so this mani is 2 coats of Essence Got a Secret and then 1 coat of each of the 5 mirrorball polishes (Freak Out, Boogie Nights, Hot Stuff, Dancing Queen, Disco Inferno)
This was a really glittery mani, so blingy! They actually looked like little mirrorballs, I wish I could have taken a picture in the sunlight because it was blinding !

I have yet to use these separately actually, but I'm pretty sure they won't disappoint. Have you guys picked these up yet?

POLISH DAYS - MAN-ICURE

I scheduled this post and it blooming well didn't publish, so I'm really sorry it's late
So this idea was awesome in my head and well it didn't really translate onto the nail : ( I was going to do them again but I didn't have time : /
It was supposed to be the lower half of a man's face and the thumb is the beginning of the month when the guy's shave their beards completely and then the pointer finger is 1 week after and the pinky is the end of the month. The main problem was the lips were too small and it just went downhill from there really, anyway here they are

Check out everybody else's mani below : )

CATRICEY STAMPED PEACOCK

So I'm currently on a little holiday in pretty much the middle of nowhere, surrounded by endless fields, but it's a lovely place, the cottage is lovely and the gardens are beautiful.
So today we all decided we'd go walking/hiking so we were all dressed in waterproofs and stuff (looking a bit daft too) but they came in extremely handy because after a mile it decided to hail really heavily. We ended up walking about 7 miles in total and my hiker boots were a bit too big and ended up cutting the back of my legs, which is very painful : (

Anyway on to mani business, I accidently ordered the 2011 Bundle Monster stamping plates instead of the 2012 ones and I couldn't be bothered returning them so I kept a couple of plates for myself and the rest my friend wanted! One of the plates I kept had this funky peacocky design which I decided to use for this mani. This is 2 coats of the gorgeous Catrice King of Greens and then stamping with Barry M Gold Foil. Now remember my stamping leaves a lot to be desired so please bare with me as I try to get better !
After the stamping I dotted some Models own Pinky Brown, Purple Blue and Indian Ocean (mixed with some red) to create like peacock spots.

This Catrice stained really badly though, so double up on basecoat when wearing this one

So what do you think of this mani? Are you guys doing anything exciting this weekend?

AZTECY/TRIBAL BLUE SPARROW (NEON) NAILS

I got this polish ages ago but only just tried it, it's a pretty colour but it's rather sheer, this was 4 coats and there's still vnl. although it is less obvious irl!
I used black and white acrylic paint and then just drew on this random thing which ended up looking a bit aztecy/tribaly !

So do you guys have this?
