MORE GOLDEN STAMPING

So the internet isn't fixed and it meant I missed out on entering an amazing contest, urgh! I am not impressed sky please sort it out !
Anyway these nails are one which looked good in my head but yeah not so much on my nails. It's basically the mani from my previous post (Nails inc Motcomb Street and OPI The Man With The Golden Gun) and then I used the cascading squares image from the BM - 320 plate with some Barry M Gold Foi !

Hmm, so yeah there you are, what do you guys think?

IT'S THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN !

So I got this at the beginning of the month and because I loved the previous combo I did with Nails Inc Motcomb street and SOpi It's real 18k gold topcoat (which I showed you guys here ) I thought I'd recreate with The Man With The Golden Gun, and well, it turns out I prefer the SOpi ! I still really like this one but I prefer the smaller flakes, maybe a different combination will change my mind, who knows?!
Anyway what you see is 2 coats of Nails Incs and 1 coat of TMWTGG and then quite a bit of dabbing because the flakes are unfortunately rather sparse (you can see I went a bit OTT on my accent nail lol!)

So yeah, there you go which gold topcoat do you prefer?

SALLY HANSEN AMBER RUBY STAMPED !

Urgh, I have been getting this post together for about 3 hours now, first the internet goes and then blogger says I've reached my 1GB capacity limit, urgh anyways I've resized my pictures for now and I think they look the same but if they don't look good to you then just let me know.
Anyway Hi guys, I hope your having a lovely weekend  and I hope all my American readers had a lovely Thanksgiving with lots of food : ) Because my internet was refusing to co-operate I didn't really get to do any polish shopping yesterday but there were definitely some good sales on !
Anyway I saw this mani months ago and I honestly fell in love with it (but I can't find the blog post now !)
I wanted to instantly recreate it but the only ingredient I had for the mani was smoke and ashes so when I got Amber Ruby you can guess what I wanted to do with it, but alas I didn't have the stamping plates (nor the skills) So when I got my Bundle Monster plates I set to work and I was so excited and pleased with how it turned out only when I looked at the original picture I realised I'd used the wrong stamping image : (
Well, that's a long tale lol, anyway enjoy the photo's which didn't turn out so well : (

So enjoy the rest of your weekend guy's I'll talk to you soon  : )

SALLY HANSEN - AMBER RUBY

Heey, how's everybody doin' ? Despite my cheery mood we are still having internet problems which means we don't have internet for like 16 hours a day so I can't post everyday , seriously Sky sort it out, urgh!
Anyways, let's talk nails. I picked up this beauty for £1 from the pound shop ! I've wanted this polish for ageess and almost bought it for £12 from Evilbay, I'm soo glad I waited, good things come to those who wait ; )
So this is 2 coats of Amber Ruby over 1 coats of OPI  Mat-adore Red (btw. it was raining when I took these pictures)

check out the amazing shimmer

Rubbish underwater picture which looks all metallic

Wow, this polish is freaking gorgeous, seriously it's shot straight up to my top 5 polishes ever, the only downside to this polish is that it takes forever, seriously forever to dry ! Seriously after 1 hour it was still really dentable ! But Seche vite helped : )
So yeah, you will see this polish again in my next post!

DELICATE NUDE & GOLD STAMPING

I have conjunctivitis which has put me in foul mood : ( But these nails have really cheered me up : )
Below is 2 coats of Colour Club Nomadic Nude and then some stamping with Barry M Gold Foil and plate BM-314
Yep the stamping doesn't line up at all and each nail looks different but oh well, I still like it.

MODELS OWN MIRRORBALLS - STRIPED

How's your weekend been guys, mine has been pretty boring (but sometimes boring is good right)
So today I have another mani which features all 5 Models Own Mirrorball polishes.
This is 2 coats of Essence Got a Secret and then I just painted alternate stripes using the different Mirrorballs, I can't remember which polishes I used where but it's a really random pattern so you can just do whatever you want really.
It was really quite easy to do but the brush on my bottle of Hot Stuff was horrible, wonky and bristles in every direction which did make it a bit difficult.

So guys enjoy the rest of your Sunday and I'll talk to you again soon : )

SOME GOLDEN STAMPING

Really brief post for today, this is basically the mani I had on a few days ago which I showed you here. I just did some subtle stamping with Barry M Gold Foil because I didn't want the stamping to overpower the gold flakes.

I hope you like it, I'll be back tomorrow (if my internet lets me) with a gorgeous polish : )

BLUE NAILS FOR WORLD DIABETES DAY

Today is World Diabetes and it's lovely that I can show my support through my nails and my blog : ) I have a friend who is a year older than me and has type 1 diabetes so I know how difficult it can be; a couple of years ago when she being as careful with her diet as she should have been she took a turn for the worst and ended up in hospital for a couple of months but thankfully she's much better now. I also have a few family members who suffer too so I had to join it today.

Diabetes is a chronic disease that arises when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin, or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces.  Insulin is a hormone made by the pancreas that enables cells to take in glucose from the blood and use it for energy. Failure to produce insulin, or of insulin to act properly, or both, leads to raised glucose (sugar) levels in the blood (hyperglycaemia). This is associated with long-term damage to the body and failure of various organs and tissues. (Taken from the International Diabetes Federation website where you can find out more about diabetes and today)

So for the nails I did 2 coats of Kiko 336 (the Nails Inc Baker Street dupe) and then topped it off with one coat of Ninja Polish Sticks n' Stones and 2 coats of topcoat. The accent nail is supposed to be an accu check testing strip, complete with the drop of blood on the end.

Check out everybody else's blue mani's and share your own : )

NAILS INC MOTCOMB STREET & SOPI IT'S REAL 18K GOLD TOPCOAT

I loveed this combo, seriously so chic and gorgeous !
2 coats of Nails inc Motcomb Street , a deep navy which looks black in some lightings and is incredibly shiny and gorgeous (which I got free with Glamour) and 1 coat of Sephora by Opi It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat which I got from Jasmine

It's a really dense topcoat (compared to the others) and the flakes are much smaller but now I think I prefer the smaller flakes to the larger ones !

    SUBTLE PAISLEY STAMPING FAIL !

I did say that not all of my stamping mani's were successful and this mani supports that statement. This turned out to be rather disappointing : (
I started off with 1 coat of Catricee Heavy Metallic (which I will always say I love every time I show you it) and then I used Orly Pure Porcelain for stamping because I don't have a decent white for stamping, (any recommendations would be much appreciated). So yeah, the polish didn't transfer properly and it was really quite faint too

So yeah, our internet is being daft which is why my posts is a bit sporadic, but I shall try and post yet more mani's for you tomorrow, take care til then guys : )

    RED ROSE STAMPING

So you may remember I mentioned a while ago I'd bought the new bundle monster plates, well I accidently ordered the 2011 ones so when I got them I was really annoyed until I saw it was my own mistake; anyway so the same day I ordered the 2012 ones hoping they'd come in time for me to take on holiday and they didn't. My first order took a week to get here and then the 2nd order took nearly 2 weeks so when I got back they still weren't here !
Anywho I finally got them and couldn't wait to start using them so this is the first mani with the 2012 plates and I am rather pleased with my stamping here (I'm sure you guys remember some of the previous failures I shared with you!)
So for this I did 2 coats of Ciate Mistress (which I didn't buy, I got it free a really long time ago, just saying because I refuse to buy anything from Ciate) which is a nice red jelly/creme because my nails were nubs you couldn't really see any vnl. Then I used Barry M Silver Foil to stamp on the gorgeous roses from the BM-323 plate !

Yes I know all the images don't line up and aren't in the same position but whatever I like it ; )
I have some more stamping mani's to share with you, expect to see many more, hehe, anyway's thankyou for reading guys and have a lovely weekend :D

NO H8 IN THE POLISH COMMUNITY!

I despise bullying, I really do. It was really upsetting to see bullying in our nail polish community.
I don't really have time to do a new purple mani (I only found out about this when I got home from work about 30 mins ago!) but I want to show my support so here is Catrice Heavy Metallic again because it's one of the most beautiful purple polishes ever !

Bullying is not funny. It is not cool. It is not right. And more importantly, it is not okay.
Most of us are, thankfully, residents of countries that support tolerance and many of our families have settled in these places simply for that reason. Generations later, it is our responsibility to perpetuate that message of tolerance across our new social platforms, including the internet.

As members of the nail polish blogging community, we all share a love of beauty, color, and lacquer. Other than that, we are remarkably different: from our race to our religion to our hair color...even to our polish application techniques. To marginalize anyone because of those differences is completely unacceptable and today I take a stand against that. I refuse to allow other people's view of "normal" dictate how I behave, believe, and blog.

In solidarity with a multitude of bloggers linked below, my purple manicure represents my proud commitment to the No H8 movement. Today, November 8, I dedicate my post to ending bullying of any kind and to encouraging diversity and imperfection among our colorful community.

MODELS OWN - ALL 5 MIRRORBALLS LAYERED

I'm really sorry guys that I haven't posted in a while, my laptop broke last week and so I've given it to a friend to fix but I have no idea when I'll get it back, so in the meantime I'm using my brother's little netbook which I don't really like and it also means I can't edit my photo's. Anywho today I spent nearly 3 hours editing photo's, I'm still not chuffed with them but it's the best I can do with what I have !
Anyway so this mani is 2 coats of Essence Got a Secret and then 1 coat of each of the 5 mirrorball polishes (Freak Out, Boogie Nights, Hot Stuff, Dancing Queen, Disco Inferno)
This was a really glittery mani, so blingy! They actually looked like little mirrorballs, I wish I could have taken a picture in the sunlight because it was blinding !

I have yet to use these separately actually, but I'm pretty sure they won't disappoint. Have you guys picked these up yet?

    POLISH DAYS - MAN-ICURE

I scheduled this post and it blooming well didn't publish, so I'm really sorry it's late
So this idea was awesome in my head and well it didn't really translate onto the nail : ( I was going to do them again but I didn't have time : /
It was supposed to be the lower half of a man's face and the thumb is the beginning of the month when the guy's shave their beards completely and then the pointer finger is 1 week after and the pinky is the end of the month. The main problem was the lips were too small and it just went downhill from there really, anyway here they are

Check out everybody else's mani below : )
