Hey everybody, how are you enjoying your weekend ?
So do you remember the tribal nails I did here? Well I decided to try the design out again but this time in a rainbow pattern. I started off with two coats of Illamasqua Monogamous and then used various nail polishes for the pattern (if you want to know the names of any of the colours please ask me in the comments and I'll let you know ) and a small nail art brush, the lines are pretty poor here actually but my brush was being a bit funky that day which kind of spoiled it!
Unfortunately when I applied topcoat it smudged the design :( which kind of ruined it a bit !

Hey guys, how was your day? Mine was busy but I used a bone saw today and cut through somebody's mandible (not a living person!)
Anywho so I'm still quite liking neons so I used Color Club Twiggie and holo purple circle glequins for the rest of the details and then applied a generous coat of topcoat.

I love it ! I love glequins & glitter placement :)

Hi guys, I don't know about you but I always feel weird typing up a post without saying hi to you all first! Lol
So I don't let the current trends, weather etc. dictate what I wear on my nails, if I want to wear eye searingly bright colours in winter I will, but often when the colder months come I do feel like wearing darker vampier shades!
So the other day I was looking at my Color Club Poptastic Set and decided I wanted to wear Wham! Pow! (orange) and Warhol (pink). I did an accent with Warhol and then just to tie it all together I added a single gold diamond glequin in the middle of each nail and voila!
Let me just tell you that this was so bright my nails were glowing, you can kind of see some glowiness around the orange in the pictures but yeah.

I love orange and pink together and I love how the simple gold glequin just brings it all together! Do you like wearing neon colours in winter or do you prefer the darker, vampier colours?

Heeyyy, so today I've got a lovely autumnal polish to show you.
This is Butter London Scuppered, a really beautiful polish which is just too complicated to describe, I'll just let the pictures do the talking :)

I hope you can see all the different things going on in the polish from the pictures! Ok, so that's it and I hope you have a lovely week :)

Hope you all had a lovely Saturday! A little while ago I went in to Asda and saw a big pack of 18 gel pens for £1 so I bought them and decided to try some nail art with them like I'd seen Alice do. I wasn't sure if it would work but it did!
So for this I started off with two coats of Essence Absolutely Blue and then used the glittery purple and blue gel pen to draw on the rest of the details, I had to wait about 3 minutes just to let it dry a little bit and then used a thick layer of topcoat, trying not to smudge the design.
I'm not crazy about how it looks but I don't dislike it.

Ok, have you tried gel pens for nail art?

Hey guys, so Wednesdays are a busy day for me which normally means that the previous Monday and Tuesday are spent in preparation for Wednesday so that's why I often don't get the chance to post anything on those days!
So for these I was inspired by Illamasqua's Speckled eyeliner look which they created for their ImPerfection collection back in Spring!
I started off with 2 coats of Essence Lol (I love this colour!) I then used black and white acrylic paint for the detail. However as soon as I applied topcoat the white turned red! I literally took these photos a minute after applying topcoat and you already see the white spots looking pink!
Does anyone know why this happens?

Yeah, so this wasn't a failure but I didn't like it enough to keep it on!

Hi guys, so it's the end of the weekend :( I swear they go by so quickly! So tonight I'm showing you a lovely fall colour but Butter London. This is two coats of Wallis and it's so beautiful, a lovely warm olive colour!
I applied one coat of topcoat and took these photo's after the second or third day so you can see some tip wear, sorry!

I liked this more every time I looked at it ! Do you have this?

Happy Friday guys, my favourite day of the week :D
Have you guys got anything planned for the weekend? I think I'm just going to be cooking, I LOVE cooking, honestly I can spend the whole day cooking!
So today I have another quick swatch to share with you. This is another polish I picked up in Turkey was Chic Reloaded from Essence. It's a dark purple/green duochrome which is perfect in 2 coats.

I know Essence is a little bit easier to find in places like the US and some parts of the UK now so do you have this?

Hi guys, so I'm really tired but I'm trying to squeeze in a post tonight for you :)
When I went to Turkey I knew I needed to get some of the Jolly Jewels polishes from Golden Rose, unfortunately I couldn't find them all but I did find this pretty!
This is number 105 (I hate that they don't have names) It's a beautiful purple with medium size hexagonal green glitter and small dark purple hexagonal glitter. I only needed two coats and there were no application problems either! Lovely
